About this property

Safari Suite at Blanco Rapids Ranch on the Blanco River- Easy river access!

We are close to Wimberley and Canyon Lake on the beautiful Blanco Rapids Ranch right on the Blanco River. You'll enjoy a picturesque setting with river access, hiking trails, pickle ball court and relaxation. We are well stocked, excellently decorated and wonderfully comfortable. We are good for couples, families with kids, solo adventurers and anyone looking to recharge.

Our Safari Suite has an adjustable split king size bed for added comfort and twin-size trundle making it perfect for a family with kids to enjoy. The bathroom has a double vanity and separate area for the toilet and walk in stone shower. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave, convection oven and single cooktop. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and most items needed to make cooking meals here a breeze. There are 3 patios with dining space and Charcoal/Gas Grill to make cooking even easier. There are 2 cabins with 2 private suites per cabin. River access is just down a stairway and an easy walk to the river. Please bring river shoes as the concrete slab near the river and the rocks in the river are slippery. Please do not go with bare feet or flip flops. Please no glass at the river, foam and plastic cups are available in the suites for your use.

A car is needed to get to/from the ranch. There is a round driveway near the Longhorn Suite that is the best place to park for this suite. Property is located 2.5 miles down a private road on a beautiful part of the Blanco River. The property is in Wimberley, Hays County but the entrance is in Fischer, Comal County. We are available by text and have a caretaker available,
Blanco Rapids Ranch is a very quiet and secluded property on the river. Kindly respect the area and do not have excessive noise. There is plenty of space in the parking area. You can park behind the suites or on the asphalt driveway after you come through the gate. Please do not park on the grass. A car is necessary to get to/from ranch. Bikes are nice to ride the Devil's Backbone and Hill Country. It is best to pick up supplies at the Brookshire Brothers in Canyon Lake or the H-E-B in Wimberley before coming out. There are restaurants in the area but you'll want to have some food on hand as we are not close enough for any food delivery services.

Really Suprised!

Location was amazing, the river spot was a quick walk down some stairs. Their was deep and shallow river sections. The room and out door space has everything you will need. Just add your food and drinks.

Excellent excellence day off the beaten path. Very private and peaceful along the Blanco river. Do yourself a favor and follow the instructions from the host and not use GPS lol, it will take you to the other side of the river instead of the location. Will absolutely stay here again

We have lived in Wimberley for 40+ years and on the Blanco River for 20+ years. Our community and the Blanco River are precious to us. It truly is a "Little Bit of Heaven" as the sign says coming into town.

Why they chose this property

This section of the Blanco River is vast and fabulous with some deep water, shallow water and rapids in the middle which is a favorite hang out place. The property is exceptionally peaceful and beautiful and very well maintained. We know you will enjoy your stay here.

What makes this property unique

The pickleball court was recently installed and all equipment is here for guest to use. There is also basketball available on same court. The patio and grilling/dining areas overlooking the river are fabulous! Come and enjoy!
