Welcome to The North Point Lakefront Retreat! This lakefront home is every lake goers dream, located in a quiet Neighborhood, with gorgeous views of Lake James throughout the home.
Start your day with a cup of coffee while enjoying the views from the living room, covered front porch, or sunroom with a wall of windows and a variety of plants for those with a “green” thumb! This house is beautifully decorated throughout, with the kitchen conveniently located just steps away from the dining room. Dine inside or outside - the beautiful indoor dining table offers 8 chairs, or choose between the back patio or front covered porch with unmatched sunset views for a serene outdoor dining experience.
Large covered dock w/ boat slip if you wish to bring your vessel! Swim dock attached with access to toys and floats for a day of fun on the lake. Please enjoy our paddle boards and kayaks!

Amazing property!

We so greatly loved our stay at this property. Amazing porch with views, very spacious and lots of places for sitting/reading, spacious kitchen with everything you could need to cook! Bedrooms, downstairs were great though it would be nice to have a bathroom downstairs as anyone staying down there had to come up for a bathroom. The house could definitely use a good deep cleaning- lots of spiders and lake critters around and under beds, dirt/dust under beds- which is to be expected on the lake, but that’s our only feedback for improvement! We will absolutely stay here again and look forward to it!

Lakefront

Comfortable home for multigenerational family of 7 on vacation.We enjoyed kayaking around lake,,swimming at multiple spots,and renting pontoon.great lake and mountan views from porch and sunroom We had planned to hike short off mountain and bike ride paddy creek,but had so much fun on water we stayed at lakehouse for 5 days.We will definitely rent again.

Great stay on Lake James!

We very much enjoyed the house and most importantly the dock. Being able to lounge on the swim platform was such a treat. Host was very responsive to all our questions and requests. Hope we can stay again next summer

Space for all

Picked this property for 17 year old granddaughter’s birthday trip. The kayaks were an added bonus. Lake James is lovely. There are signs in the neighborhood (“Neighborhoods are for neighbors, not short term rentals”) but perhaps as it was Memorial Day weekend and there were plenty of people visiting, our visit didn’t seem to create any waves. The teenagers liked having a “private” space downstairs away from the adults. While the adults appreciated the solarium and deck.

The property itself was is a wonderful location, great views of the lake and mountains.. Only complaints were no tv in the master bedroom and one other room.. needs to have street light in the surrounding area.. completely dark at night..
