Charming Beach Cottage, Beach Chair Service Included

Welcome to Charming Beach Cottage, a 4-bedroom 2 bath beach cottage with an open floor plan. There is plenty of room for 10 guests and a pet. It is a short 6-minute walk from the beach and located in a quiet street in Maravilla Resort. Maravilla has 500 feet of beach front allowing a more relaxed, less crowded stay at the beach. For your convenience and enjoyment, we prepaid 4 beach chairs and two umbrellas already set up, just tell the beach attendant the address of the cottage. If you need to bring more chairs and toys to the beach, a wagon is available. All the bedrooms and the living room have Smart/Roku TVs. In addition to free wi-fi, a Sonos player is also available and USB charging stations are in each room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless-steel range, vent hood and quartz countertop for easy cleanup after cooking. In the back you will find a paver patio with ample seating.

There are 2 pickle ball courts, a tennis court, shuffle board, corn hole, gym and a basketball hoop in the resort for your enjoyment. There are two swimming pools and the north pool is heated with a jacuzzi. For your security, there is a Ring floodlight camera at the front of the house covering the driveway. Smoking and/or vaping are NOT allowed in the cottage. There are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in each room and hallways. Must be 25 years old to lease.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. Plenty of room for our family and our dog. The kitchen was very workable for several cooks at one time since we ate in most of the time. It was well stocked with utensils and cookware. We enjoyed the coffee station as well. It was great to have the washer and dryer and beach chairs and umbrellas included. We liked that pets were allowed and most people kept their dogs on leashes. Not a bad walk to the beach and the pool was close. The key pad did not work when we got there but Bernadette got us in and had the keypad replaced. She was very responsive to messages and in a timely matter. We highly recommend!

This home was decorated nicely with a roomy open floor plan, a beautiful kitchen with all the amenities, four bedrooms with comfortable beds, top-notch washer and dryer. Pretty coffee bar set-up. Comes with 4 chair and 2 umbrellas at the beach, 2 pools. We may have to rent this one again!!

Perfect family beach cottage!

The cottage was perfect for our family beach vacation! Our family ranged in age from grandparents to toddler grandchildren, and everyone enjoyed the stay. Well appointed, good sized bedrooms and common areas, great kitchen and outdoor patio and grill to meet our beach vacation needs. Short walk to a private beach that included four chairs and two umbrellas with the property, and greatly appreciated the host having a wagon available for us to bring our beach gear with us. My only wish would be for blackout curtains in the bedrooms, that toddler woke up early in the early morning Florida sunlight!

Girls trip

Location was great. You def need a car or can take a Lyft. Perfect amount of space for our group of 8. Wish we knew we had to bring our own laundry detergent and only supplied with 4 rolls of toilet paper. Chairs and umbrella are free up to 5pm. If you would like them to view the sunset then this is an extra charge. I would def come back.

Why they chose this property

The cottage is located in a quiet street in Maravilla away from the main road of the resort. It is ideal for families with children where they can ride their bikes or play. There is a basketball court in the nearby cul de sac. The resort is a low density development with 4 - 4 story condo buildings, 60 cottages and a dozen multi story homes, which means less people at the beach in summer compared to resorts with high rise condos. The resort is nestled between Destin Commons and Silver Sands outlet. Baytowne Wharf is just a 12 minute drive from Maravilla. The resort is pet friendly and a favorite among families that come to Miramar Beach.
