I don’t know if I’ve ever given all 5’s. Loved this property. Was as described and really cute and comfortable. We completely enjoyed ourselves. Great access to the dunes. Would love to return.
What a lovely house, my favorite was the claw foot tub and tankless hot water heater. We brought our side by side and ATV and could keep it behind a gate which was so nice and secure. The house was stocked with everything you need and when I couldn't find something the owner was quick to respond. Inside the house was a little smaller than I thought from photos but it was still perfect for our family of 3.
Amazing place to stay. Parking lot was bigger than we thought, we made 2 trucks, 2 trailers and 2 sxs fit with a little creativity! Beds were comfortable and the ride in/out access to the dunes was awesome. Neighbors were friendly but the privacy of the property was just as advertised. We will be back!
The main house and attached house, plus the fire pit/bbq area were all fantastic. Quiet, comfortable, and cozy. My only question is, is it for sale??
Thanks,
Joel
A lovely place. The fire pit was fun - bring some wood & marshmallows. Great to have a separate cottage & 2.5 bathrooms. The garden space and decks would be great in the summer. Enjoyed our quick stay.
Great property in Lakeside, close to coos bay and Winchester Bay. Everything was stocked and well taken care off. Game room was a hit with the boys. Outdoor fire pit and outdoor area was a hit, great place to sit with the family and relax and connect. Thank you
The home is beautifully done and well maintained. The host is very interactive and wanted to ensure we had a great stay! Lots of cozy places to eat and see in lakeside. Only downfall was 2.5 mile run on asphalt to dunes access very hard on the sand tires. We are thankful to have stayed in such a beautiful place.
This was such a perfect setting for our vacation. Close to the dunes, where we were riding ATVs, secluded by trees for privacy and the right amount of space for the five guests in our group. The space is thoughtfully planned out and the courtyard was just a perfect way to end the evening with the stars overhead and a little fire pit. This was our first time to this area and it was a win so for sure we’ll be back. Plenty of house supplies, we wanted for nothing and the owner was awesome. Just a quick question and she was promptly responsive and pleasant! Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house with us!
The house was very clean, there were plenty of amenities including dishes, utensils, hygiene products, cleaning products, etc. Communication with the owner of the house was very easy, she helped us with everything we needed and responded within minutes every time we reached out!
The only reason I didn't give this listing 5 stars is because the neighborhood is very sketchy. The house is surrounded by unkept tralier park houses. The whole neighborhood is a trailer park with nice houses here and there, very weird.
We stayed 6 nights at this well-stocked, attractive home in Lakeside. Because our days were spent fishing, crabbing, clamming and sightseeing, we fixed most dinners there. We had everything we needed, and more. A grocery store is about 5 minutes away. If you are in Reedsport, we recommend lunch at the Schooner Cafe and dinner at Big Fish. (The huckleberry salmon at Big Fish was amazing!)
We especially appreciated the washer and dryer, the storage room for all our fishing gear and ice chests, the excellent BBQ grill, and the fire pit. The beds were comfortable, everything was super clean, the wifi was strong.
The house is definitely the nicest in the neighborhood. The downside for us were the neighbor's barking dogs right next door. Parking was tight for two vehicles and a small bass boat, but we managed fine. Overall we give this place a 5-star rating and would return!
We had a great stay, exploring the town was alot of fun and the property is really nice...but its kind of in a weird spot next to some not so friendly neighbors and barking loud yippy dogs, every single time you walk outside.
It was a little weird to know that the owner has sound and video recording on you while you are there including several cameras. I didnt realize this until after my booking and I was sent the "RULES" (which there are ALOT of). It was too late to cancel for a refund. I can understand the video of the driveway/enterance but I think its unnecessary to have video and recording in the courtyard where family and friends are supposed to hang out/relax and enjoy eachothers company on vacation. Who can really relax knowing everything they do is being watched....creepy. We had to do alot of "cleaning" per the rules before we left which made it feel like I spent my vacation doing the housekeepers work, why Im I paying a cleaning fee when I had to do all the laundry, dishes, trash removal, and beds...kind of fustrating to say the least. But if none of this bothers you, the beds are comfortable the property has lots of greenery so it feels sort of private (besides the cameras) the owners are very friendly and answer all questions in a timely mannor and it seems like a safe property for kids which is always my main concern. Our 3 year old loved it!
The property was so nice for a relaxing family time. Very Clean. Had two twin beds in loft, a king bed in downstairs master and a queen bed in private upstairs. This would be a perfect fit for two kids, grandparent that needs to be downstairs and a queen bed in private apartment just across the deck from the loft. The fire pit with comfortable chairs surrounding it and pokers for S’mores. Great place for hanging out with arcade games in an outside entrance by fire pit. Great communication from the hostess. Very Comfortable all around.
Great rental in lake side. Great family spot, kids love having both houses. Clean, good outdoor space and overall wonderful place. Host did a great job too
This area around reedsport -coos bay is kind of highly underrated. The beaches are amazing and most people just want to ride their ATVs in the dunes, so the beaches are pretty much empty. Surprisingly you can find pretty good food here too. Lakeshore lodge has amazing breakfast. This place is really nice and feels kind of a bit out of place in the sense that it is way too nice. Only stayed 3 days but wished I had booked it longer: we didn't want to leave. Very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Kids loved the place and it is really well decorated. Huge collection of DVDs and super cozy living room + kitchen: a gem.
