Villa Zatarra Saint Lucia represents a Caribbean Vacation experience and a short term villa rental stay at it's best!

Villa Zatarra is Nestled in the heart of Cap Estate, one of the more affluent areas of St Lucia exists a property spanning across ¾ acre of lush landscaping and a cool Sea breeze and 18 hole golf course.

Villa Zatarra was Designed and built by celebrity saxophonist, Rob Zi Taylor and his wife, Veron ,their labor of love and unique style and design is now complete.

Villa Zatarra is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom sanctuary that quietly boasts a rustic island feel with hints of Indonesian accents throughout ,from hand carved teakwood pieces to the sounds of the waterfall, cascading into the intimate pool, you will find this St lucian retreat.


Original paintings, driftwood, stone floors, wooden decks, waterfall and a beautiful pool with color changing LED lights, herb garden, hammocks Ocean views are just some of the eye pleasing features of this property.


Modern, well equipped kitchen, TV’s in all bedrooms and a Smart TV in the living room. Free Wifi throughout, AC units in all bedrooms .

Walk in showers, large bath in master bedroom. And for outside cooking there is a BBQ grill in place.

Please note: We do have two friendly cats on the property. If you prefer the cats not to be on the property during your stay, please inform us and they can be removed.

The property is just minutes away from numerous beaches to enjoy as well as the 18 hole golf course.

Shops, Restaurants and nightlife are located mostly in Rodney Bay which is just a 5-10 minute drive and easy to find once the guests have done the short orientation tour the morning after they arrive which has always been regarded as a great way to get started and welcomed by all.

Unique and Outstanding Villa Zatarra is the most gorgeous spot for a holiday hangout. I have rented over a dozen VRBO’s over the years and this one is the top of my list for a repeat visit. It heightened all my senses into pure joyfulness. The breezes through the open doors, the coolness of the dark woods and ceramic tiles, the sea views and white waves along with the sound of the pool waterfall was just so relaxing. The Villa has everything you could want for a self-catering vacation and lots of excellent restaurants nearby as well.There are not enough words to express my gratitude for the wonderful hospitality that Rob and Phyness provided, they are the most exceptional human beings I’ve ever met on holiday. Above and beyond always. Please bless them with your presence, you will not be disappointed. I’ll miss you two but will see you again soon.

Spacious and airy villa. Good air conditioning in the bedrooms. Strongly recommend you not drive here and fend for yourself but instead depend on the help and kindness of the locals, including the owner, Rob, who arranged a wonderful rainforest tour, and the taxi service arranged by Stanis, who seems to be always on call. You can't expect all of the amenities of a US VRBO in the kitchen but it's a small price to pay!

Beautiful Villa

Our family had a great stay! We loved the sunrise views and breeze from the balcony. The pool/patio area is a great place to relax. We enjoyed the variety of flowers and plants on the property and seeing an occasional hummingbird. The property manager and owner were very nice and gave us some good recommendations. We’d definitely stay again.

Wow! Villa Zatarra was everything we had hoped and more! The pictures were spot on and we couldn’t be happier with our stay there. Our group was four adults and it was the perfect amount of space! The beds were comfy and the views were amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with all the things we needed to prepare our breakfasts and lunches. We ate out most nights. Nancy came by mid-stay to bring fresh towels and show us how to operate the washing machine. She was so lovely and answered any questions we had! Rob the host was very attentive! Checking in multiple times throughout the trip to ensure our stay was going well. He invited us to watch his Sunday performance at The Naked Fisherman and we are so glad we did! I had the shrimp tostadas there and they are the best I’ve ever had! Robs performance on saxophone while his wife sang was wonderful to watch and our whole group enjoyed it! We spent the day down at the beach in-front of The Naked Fisherman and it was so peaceful. We had the best week at Villa Zatarra, thank you Rob for everything!

Great house for a family

This house is charming, well-appointed and perfect for a relaxing family get-away. Our family of four have an amazing week… close to beaches and restaurants and gorgeous vistas all around. A perfect and secluded villa

The Villa was beautiful in a very secluded area about an hour and half from the airport. If you’re looking for an enjoyable place to relax, Villa Zatarra was perfect. Both he, his driver (Stanis) and housekeeper (Nancy) were in constant communication with us the entire 7 days! Rob even called us as we were traveling back to airport which was a pleasant ending.

St. Lucia Oasis

This villa is truly one of a kind tiny paradise oasis. My husband and I rented the villa for 7-nights for our fist time trip to St. Lucia to celebrate our Honeymoon. We could not have asked for a better stay. The house itself is so unique - providing a neat open air space, perfect for lounging by the private pool or playing card games inside. There are two bedrooms, one on the main floor and one on the second floor. Both are lovely. We stayed in the main bedroom on the second floor, complete with a private balcony and two hammocks. The house alone would have been enough to ensure a great trip, but the added restaurant recommendations, quick communication, and overall friendliness of our host, Rob, tipped this trip into unforgettable territory. Rob made the villa easy to find and to access. He also provided a great reference package of the island; beaches, restaurants, activities complete with a helpful description of all. We will absolutely be making this a repeat trip!

There aren’t enough words to adequately describe the graciousness and attention to our group by the owner and his team. From arrival to coordinating transportation around the island, they were extraordinary. And the property is an oasis within an oasis. Villa Zatarra will be our St. Lucia residence during our visits.

We had an amazing time staying at this villa. The home is unique and beautiful, very relaxing in a beautiful part of the island. All the amenities were great it really felt like we were in a tropical paradise. It was so awesome to be able to leave the doors open and enjoy the fresh air. you really will experience nature . :) Rob is an excellent host. He took the time to personally greet us when we arrived and when we departed . His communication is prompt and his suggestions of restaurants and things to do in the area are also great. He even recommended a private chef. (Book chef Kay) Rob thinks of everything. Nancy, the housekeeper was so sweet and kept the place Clean. She even did our laundry. Stanis a must! The airport pick up and drop off was so smooth. Be sure to do the land and sea tour with Stanis. It was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on when on vacation. Staying here made us feel like locals and we had a wonderful experience. I did not regret staying at a villa instead of a resort. (and my husband and I are very picky) the house was clean and had everything we needed. Be sure to pack bug spray though, because the mosquitoes are also very welcoming. :) Don’t look any further book now!

Heaven within heaven

St. Lucia is already an amazing place to be and this villa was the slam dunk to an amazing vacation. the property is nestled within a quiet neighborhood where you have complete privacy and all of the amenities one could need. the open air fire floor is a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living. the property manager is beyond friendly and sent helpful recommendations to ensure my wife and I were comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better host, or a better villa to host my wife and I after our destination wedding.

Breathtaking Villa

Villa Zatarra was extraordinary to say the least. The pictures on the website are beautiful but in person, it is even more so. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the Villa to tour the Island, which is absolutely magnificent. It was a very short drive from the Villa to Rodney Bay where the restaurants were as fantastic as the beaches. The owner's were gracious and went out of their way to accomodate our every need. There was nothing we lacked and each day was a new adventure as we sampled the exquisite cuisine and explored the culture that is uniquely St. Lucia.

Awesome Villa!

What a great place in a great location! We enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice having the pool to cool down. Opening all the doors and windows and letting the breeze blow through made it seem like part of the outdoors. It was very private as well. We chose to use the recommended driver(Stanis). Definitely the way to go with the roads and traffic. The place is in a great location for all kinds of activities and restaurants. Rob and Veron were very prompt in answering any questions we had. Would highly recommend this place.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Zatara. The villa and it's grounds are so aesthetically pleasing you feel the need to walk around to catch it at different angles. The views of the ocean are wonderful along with the soothing ocean breezes. My favorite was lounging in the hammock on the upstairs balcony, what a relaxing pleasure. We spend many a day at the local Almond Bay Beach (a true jewel). Check it out and ask for Miguel at the oceanfront bar. You will enjoy this villa and St. Lucia. The worst part about St. Lucia is having to leave.

Stunning property with breathtaking views! This indoor/outdoor property offers spacious areas, a fully furnished kitchen with everything you could possibly need and your own private pool. There are a few beaches within 1.2 miles, one on the Atlantic and a few on the Caribbean side. The property is private, gated and very safe. The owners are so nice, friendly and helpful. They communicate timely and even came to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed! The housekeeper, Nancy, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing without lifting a finger! The villas driver, Stanis, was phenomenal always making sure we got wherever we wanted to go anytime we needed!
