The property was clean and matched the description. The rooms were cozy and the space was thoughtfully designed to make you feel at home. Close proximity to Asheville without being in the heart of it. We appreciated the local recommendations.
Kate and Michael went above and beyond with making sure their guests have everything they need. The house was cozy, clean, and located in the perfect quiet neighborhood. The fire pit outside and the game room in the basement are my favorite part. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to vacation near Asheville!
The home is spacious, clean and updated. Plenty of nice tableware if you plan to cook, plenty of towels were supplied and the beds were very comfortable. The touch lights on the bedside tables were a nice feature! There was a "pet" basket at the door with extra pet blankets, dog dishes and sofa cover in case you had forgotten yours. The area was pretty quiet- located on a dead-end street with another dead-end street behind it, so very little traffic noise (yes the neighbors' dog occasionally barked, but only when we were out walking ours). It was close enough to Asheville to visit your typical attractions without having to deal with too much traffic. All in all, a very comfortable stay, and we would not hesitate to return.
We were a group of four adults, two young children, and a puppy, and we were so comfortable in this home! Kate and Michael thought through so many details, especially when it came to hosting children, that made our stay easy and cozy.
The location was great for taking trips into downtown Asheville for the day (ca. 20min drive) and spending evenings at the Biltmore Village (ca. 8min drive).
You should absolutely stay here! We definitely will be back in this home at some point in the future.
I concur with other reviews. Very clean and updated place that welcomes your dogs. Big yard (not fenced).
Coffee, creamer, sugar and filtered water.
Beds are newer with fresh linens and towels.
WiFi is excellent.
The surrounding neighbors all do have a bunch of loud dogs, but that is not in the control of these wonderful owners.
20-30 minutes from the Biltmore Estate, great restaurants, and close to other good things to do.
Very nice house, but had issues with the shower pressure
We stayed in this place for 6 days. It was very clean, nice kitchen, and the furniture was very comfortable. Bottled water was supplied. I had only one issue really, but one I should mention as it made our stay a little less enjoyable. The shower had no pressure whatsoever. The water coming out of the bathtub faucet had excellent pressure, but once it was switched to the shower it was just a dribble. I did contact the host about it and the response was "Unfortunately I don't know of a way to make it better. We changed out the shower head, but it only helped minimally. I'm sorry!" Maybe a professional plumber can fique it out. So, if you just need the tub, great! But showers are a no go.
Great little house with a lot of added bonuses. You can tell the owners care about their rental, as the items they supply are quality and they do a great job making you feel welcome. The firepit was a great addition. We were tucked away but still in good proximity to many conveniences (grocery store 2.2 miles away, plenty of great food options near by).
Property was clean and very accommodating. Many things to do without leaving the home
Very pleased with the experience and host was very accommodating. Plenty of things to do without leaving the house such as ping pong, foosball and corn hole. We enjoyed the fire pit and would stay here again if we venture back up to Asheville. Close to the interstate for easy access everything Asheville has to offer. Must visit Sierra Nevada Brewery it is a must see.
We had a very pleasant stay here! There were 5 of us and we felt we had plenty of room! Even sharing the one bathroom was no problem! The living area was very comfortable and spacious. The couch was super comfy! The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The hosts thought of everything so we didn’t need anything! We loved the games! And thanks to the host’s recommendation we had the best meal from Mary’s Burritos!! We also really enjoyed going to the Bold Rock Mills River Cidery! The location is great, not too far from restaurants, stores or Asheville! The hosts are EXCELLENT communicators! We would definitely stay here again!
This house is at the end of the street which means it is quiet and away from traffic. A nice large lawn with a fire pit outside, and a nice deck for an evening glass of wine. Large basement for games for younger folks. The wifi worked well which we found was not always the case in some places in the area. Great restaurants near by and close to downtown. Everything was clean and well equipped. The yard is not fenced but the dogs were fairly well behaved off lease and had fun running and playing.
