Lovely place to stay for a weekend. Cozy spot with the basics, close to downtown. Caught two bear sightings which was neat. Some reviews mentioned issues with hot water but we didn’t run into any hot water problems!
Very responsive host. Beautiful serene location. Turkeys parading by every afternoon were delightful to watch from the deck. Older cabin so expect some imperfections but it was a wonderful stay.
When we arrived there was an overwhelming smell of mildew in the home. The sofa was also smelly. The pots and pans were absolutely disgusting and need to be replaced. We were unable to cook any of the food we brought. The beds and pillows were great in the bedrooms. Nice bathroom and kitchen. Great front porch and scenery.
It is a wonderful away of place when you just want to see nature and listen to birds the only issue we had was what somebody else stated the water heater small so we split the shower schedule. The bears were very active in the neighborhood.
Very clean cottage. Nice bire mountains. Treat seeing the turkeys. Good location. Close to Asheville and weaverville where i was meeting up with parties fir christmas
The cabin was just perfect for our trip. We were able to see the bears from the front porch every evening and early morning. I would recommend this to family and friends.
We had a lovely time in Haw Creek. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely and Janet and her family are wonderful hosts. We loved watching the many birds and wildlife around us.
The view from the front porch was absolutely beautiful. The cottage itself was very cozy, well furnished with older appliances. It could definitely use a comfier mattress and a better showerhead, but besides that, it is an absolute steal given the price.
