At Key in the Conch Shell, a private community located within the Lost Key Golf & Beach Club, guests will have access to private resort amenities, including a members-only beach club, pool and hot tub, the Arnold Palmer golf course, over 5 miles of walking trails, private restaurants and complimentary shuttle services. Whether you're looking to get away with family or reunite with old friends, this will be a vacation you won't forget!

Located within a secluded nature preserve and just steps away from the beautiful beaches of Florida, this luxury vacation spot will help you and your family create memories that will last a lifetime.

What you’ll love:
• A great night’s sleep for the whole family: 2 king beds, 2 twin XL beds (Convertible to a third King on Request), and 1 queen-size pull out sofa (additional Pack ‘n Play available)
• Gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen, including stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, and large pantry
• An 85” TV in the living room, perfect for a family movie night
• Three TVs in each bedroom
• A private second-story porch overlooking the beautiful nature preserve
• A remote workstation with a desk, office chair, lamp, and fast and reliable wifi on fiber optic internet service
• Third-floor washer and dryer located next to owner’s suite
• Beach towels to ensure a ready-to-go beach adventure for the whole family

• Access to a private, members only beach club where you can rent beach chairs by the day or lounge by the pool (~13 minute walk, or accessible via the complimentary Lost Key shuttle service)
• A members-only resort style pool and hot tub with zero entry access, fountains, and swim lanes (~6 min walk, or accessible via the complimentary Lost Key shuttle service)
• The Lost Key Arnold Palmer golf course. Golf club is ~20 minute walk, or accessible via the complimentary Lost Key shuttle service.
• Two restaurants, tennis courts, and a fitness center (all within walking distance)
• Complimentary beach shuttle service/transportation to amenities 7-days/week (schedule may vary)
• Pet friendly! Dog crate and bowls for food and water available (one dog limit)
• Our family has been in the charter boat business in the nearby town of Orange Beach for almost 35 years. We have two boats and can accommodate your group from 4 persons to over 20. Reach out for more information.


Other things to note:
- Maximum occupancy is 8 guests
- Accessibility note: This townhome has two sets of stairs.
- The Lost Key HOA sets a golf cart maximum capacity of 2 persons (even in 4 seater golf carts), and shall be required to have seating areas for both driver and passenger. Guests are prohibited from driving golf carts across Perdido Key Dr. to the Lost Key Beach Club. Breaking this rule can result in tickets and fines for renters and owners.
- All guests must follow the HOA rules set in place by Lost Key. If any guest violates those rules, Lost Key will require us to enforce an immediate checkout that is nonrefundable.
- You must be at least 25 years of age or older to book this rental. The renter must closely and personally supervise all occupants of a property under the age of 25 years.
- Owners are not responsible for the Lost Key community amenities (i.e. pool, Beach Club, etc).

We had an amazing stay! The property was spotless, modern, and incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. The AC worked perfectly (a huge plus), and the beds and couches were super comfortable—honestly felt like a home away from home.One of our favorite things was all the beach gear provided—it made our trip so much easier especially with kids(11 & 7). The location is fantastic, just a short distance to Perdido Beach #1 , which is absolutely beautiful and perfect for families.Pro tip: walk across to the Beach Club at sunrise—you’ll likely spot dolphins, which was such a beautiful experience!The host was also wonderful—great communication and very responsive throughout our stay. Bonus points for being pet-friendly, which made traveling/staying with our pup stress-free. We would 100% stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful! Great location with wonderful amenities. We usually like to stay oceanfront, but the shuttle offered a great experience to get us to the beach quickly, so we didn’t mind. Perfect beach get away!

This property is the perfect beach retreat! With shuttle service to the beach club with a pool and private beach service it made for an awesome trip with no carrying umbrellas or chairs back-and-forth. There are a few flights of stairs, so if you have mobility issues that could be a concern. We loved this place!

The only negative thing to say is the sheets and mattresses needs to be changed, the sheets were worn and the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. The master bedroom mattress has indentions where you sleep. Other than that it was wonderful. The host was the best you can ask for and very responsive.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is well equipped to handle a large family. There were beach chairs, beach towels as well as a pack and play provided which allowed for light packing and ease of travel for my family. Communication was great as well! Will certainly return.

Emily and Tyler Fultz have built a beautiful home and experience. The deal they arranged for golf was a very good bargain. We loved the MB bed. The linens are very nice. The decor is upscale. We had everything we needed. Many details were perfectly planned for us.

I really enjoyed staying here. It was easy access to get into. Parking is no problem at all. It was very clean and had all the things you need to cook with. Plenty of towels. The shower in the master bathroom had great water pressure. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Beach Getaway

We could not be happier with our stay. This absolutely beautiful home in gorgeous Perdido Key was the perfect beach getaway for our family- adults, toddlers and dog included. So convenient and easy access to everything on the resort, to the beach and some wonderful local restaurants. Absolutely amazing property!!!!

This property is absolutely amazing!! This gated community is super safe and child friendly! The condo itself was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had every amenity you could hope for! Super easy check-in process! The back porch was perfect for sitting and relaxing. The kitchen was spotless and well stocked. The community pool is an easy walk from the condo and the beach club is an added bonus!!!Only issue we had was that the upstairs A/C unit froze over and stopped working. Emily, the owner, answered immediately and got it fixed by that afternoon. We absolutely couldn't have asked for a better response! My friends and I are already looking at future dates to book another stay here!!

The condo is fantastic with everything you need for a long (or short) stay. Beautiful appointments, fabulous resort and Emily is just amazing with communicating through the whole process. I cannot recommend this property more! She and her hubby have spared no expense or attention to detail whether it be the furnishings, toiletries like a 5 star hotel and trash service. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!!! PS very doggy friendly, too which Bowser thanks you for a pawesome stay *woof*

Tranquil Getaway

Key in The Conch Shell is a great place to stay and it truly felt like a home away from home. The owners have taken great pride in creating an aesthetic retreat and are prompt in responding to inquiries. We found the rental to be very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The two sets of stairs gave us a much needed daily workout but something to keep in mind if a member in your party has mobility issues. The neighborhood has great amenities, ie pool, beach club, golf etc. We especially enjoyed spending time on the balcony watching the bald eagles hanging out in the nearby trees. Also, don't forget to try a Bushwacker at the beach club. ;) We hope to be able to visit again soon.

Loved - Fall break trip - Off Season

Loved this VRBO. Very clean, plenty of room, host is very attentive. Super easy check in. Due to traveling in the off season we were able to extend our stay a few days. Very pet friendly which is hard to find in this area. A heads up for those of you traveling here in the "off season" the shuttle services apparently doesn't answer the phone until after 11am. We like to be at the beach before that time but the walk isn't bad.You also do not have access to the beach chairs and umbrellas Monday thru Thursday. This would of been good to know before we got over to the beach without any chairs. This VRBO does have a few beach chairs and beach accessories which was nice. You also can not take coolers to the beach club or the Beach club Beach. I am not sure how well this is enforced on the beach but there are signs. These are just a few things that were not mentioned when booking but I would recommend staying here. We stay at VRBO's all the time and I was super impressed with the host and her quick responses.

Our family just got back from a great week in Lost Key. We loved the location and amenities...this property is clean, well-equipped and is beautiful! It looks just like the pictures! The owners provided wonderful communication before and during our stay. They were quick to answer any questions we had and provided helpful information regarding the area and things to do. Clean and Beautiful Condo!

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely condo! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is just fabulous, and the location is perfect! It’s really large, and every need is met! Linens, dishes, wi-go, even an automatic garage door opener for the private garage! Gated and safe, quiet, with a clubhouse directly on the beach! Good food! Free beach chairs! I have to mention the wonderful owner, Emily, who is so kind and helpful! She explained the smart lock to me- and answered all my questions instantly!! We will return! The Gulf Coast, specifically Perdido Key, Orange Beach, and Pensacola, are very special to us and we are thrilled to share this beautiful place with you.

Emily's extended family is from the Gulf Coast and she grew up spending every summer and school holiday at the beach. Her family is in the charter boat business in Orange Beach and she learned how to fish on her grandfather's boat which is still owned and operated by her family today.

When Emily and Tyler met at Georgia Tech, Emily was able to share her love of the area with Tyler. A few graduations, a wedding, and a global pandemic later, we decided to make our dreams come true with this home away from home.
