We would be pleased to welcome you in our newly furnished apartments in the "Haus am Wald" with panoramic views of the Karawanken.
Our apartments have two bedrooms with double bed, plus a sofa bed, kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher, satellite TV, two bathrooms with shower / WC, including private balcony. As a child-friendly operation, we offer for our youngest guests, of course, high chair / cot for free.
In addition to this apartment we offer a heated pool (6 x 9 m), a large covered guest terrace, lawn with plenty of space for children.
Car parking and 2 garages are available next to the free bike rental. In addition, there are free bathing cards available in Strandbad Ledenitzen am Faaker See.
In the immediate vicinity is a Buschenschenke in which you can enjoy regional delicacies. Directly to our 'house on the forest' border fitness, Parcour hiking trails and bike paths. In 2 km distance there is the viewpoint with high ropes climbing Tarborhöhe, from where you have a beautiful view over the Faaker See.
If you fancy a mountain hike, for example, the Mittagskogel, one of the most beautiful mountains in the Karawanken Mountains, can be reached without you having to use your car. Of course, you will also get the best culinary insider tips from us, where you can comfortably and relax on one of the numerous 'huts'.
Due to its proximity to Slovenia and Italy (20 minutes by car), you also have the possibility to spend 1 day at the sea or in the famous Slovenian wine region. If you prefer shopping, we can recommend the 'leather market' in Tarvis or the biggest shopping center in Carinthia the 'Atrio' in Villach. Both can be reached within 30 and 15 minutes by car.
Of course we can not give you a good weather guarantee. But what we can promise you with a clear conscience is that we will make every effort to make you remember the 'Haus am Wald' as a beautiful and relaxing holiday destination.
