Near Wolf Creek Park, Monkey Island and Tera Miranda Marina for fishing tournaments! 🐟 Parking lot can park several trucks/boats. 🐟 New construction with beautiful views of Grand Lake! ➡Home can sleep 6 comfortably or a total of 8 with 2 people in the queen and two full size beds.⬅ Spring is beautiful on Grand Lake as the White Pelicans migrate and stop here, the trees are blooming, and the temps are mild for boating. Our home is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. 🐠 Relax on the front porch, fish or launch a boat within steps of your door at the public lake access ramp. (Ramp can be too shallow during some seasons) 🐠 We are close to the quaint towns of Grove or Monkey Island for all your dining, shopping and entertainment desires. Main floor has living room, dining, fully equipped kitchen, private bedroom, full bathroom and washer/dryer. Upstairs Loft has large sitting area, partitioned corner with full-size bed, separate twin bed, and bunkbed with lower full-size bed, upper twin, and twin trundle that pulls out. Loft also has a half bathroom.

This property is perfect for a little lake getaway. Plenty of parking, yard for kids to play in and calm, peaceful lake views. The hosts are amazing and great communicators. You can tell they put their heart into this place, lots of cute little furnishings. We will be back for sure!

We came for a family reunion. Adorable property! Comfortable and had what we needed (including portable crib and baby gate). Close to the water (idk about access); quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended!

4th of July Weekend

So impressed with this VRBO - looking forward to staying again another time ! Exceptionally clean home , quiet neighborhood. Perfect place to stay for our family and enjoy beautiful Grand Lake . Special touches around the home to make it feel like home . The covered porch , open concept of the home and short distance to the lake made our stay so enjoyable.

Great place for a lake getaway. Close to the water and a nice place to relax. The host Dee was amazing. Made sure we had all that we needed and checked in with us regularly. Was by far the best place we’ve stayed at in a long time.

Pleasant Stay

John and Dee have a wonderful place. Both the outside and inside are very well kept and stocked with everything that we needed for our weekend stay. The location was great with being right by the lake, just outside of town, and in a quiet neighborhood. All of us that stayed there would definitely stay here again.

In Grove for Family Reunion

Perfect retreat to relax and re-energize!

This was a great property. Everything that was described, is exactly how it is! As far as we were concerned, it was fully stocked and perfect for our getaway. Everything was clean and comfortable even the beds. We felt refreshed and relaxed. We would’ve loved to have stayed longer. I guess we’ll just have to book another trip just so we can stay here.

The property is conveniently located to Grove or Monkey Island. It looks practically new and has plenty of parking for boats. It is well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood.

Grand getaway

Gram’s barndominium was very well equipped and extremely clean and spacious. Dee and John were amazing hosts and they took excellent care of us. We are a family of 4 adults and everyone slept comfortably. We will definitely stay again on our next vaca to Grand Lake!

Great getaway!

This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy family and friends. The attention to detail is amazing. We spent most of our time on the lake and then enjoyed some front porch sittin at the house. We'd recommend this to anyone who is looking to spend time in the Grand Lake area.

Great place for our family

We had a great stay at John and Dee’s. They were great hosts. Checking in on us and responding to our needs. Our only frustration was that the public dock near their neighborhood was inaccessible due to low water level and the boat ramp was not steep enough for our small watercraft. We had to drive 7-10 mins to Wolf Creek boating facility which was very nice.

John and Dee live nearby on Grand Lake and are excited to share our newly constructed workshop with 1300sf of living space we call Gram's Barndominium. We built this space for John's mom, but her health declined and couldn't live here. We wanted to honor Gram, who raised her kids to love the lake, fishing, boating and swimming, by offering her home to you. We hope you love the area as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Gram's Barndominium is perfectly positioned on Grand Lake to nearby attractions, downtown Grove, Monkey Island, and Bernice State Park. With public lake access within walking distance you can swim or boat in the quiet cove. The beautiful home has unique lake accents for a vacation home feel, but features everything you want in lodging. A full kitchen is available with everything you have at home. The private bedroom has a queen bed situated near a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The cozy living area has comfortable furniture to relax and talk or watch TV with streaming services. Upstairs is a large loft with sitting area, a full size bed in a private nook, a twin bed, and a bunk bed with full size lower, twin upper and twin trundle. There is also a half bathroom in the loft. This home can sleep 6 comfortably, or 9 total with 2 people in Queen and Full beds.

Grand Lake O' the Cherokees is an Oklahoma secret most people don't know about! It is 66 miles long and has more than 1,300 miles of shoreline and 59,000 acres of water. It hosts major fishing tournaments for anglers across the nation, including The Bassmaster Classic. Nearby on Monkey Island is Shangri La that offers championship golf, activity park, boating rentals, fishing, parasailing and indoor/outdoor dining options.
