Great communication with the host. The TV and streaming apps were logged in for viewing and wifi worked fine. The house and rooms were comfortable and the space and yard were nice for our dog and for hanging out.
We loved the cabin. Really clean and comfortable, the front porch was where we hung out. Really close to the Lake and downtown Bristol. Definitely going back next year.
The house is beautiful and well maintained. Everything that is you needed was there. The area is beautiful and very peaceful. We would recommend this to anyone.
We loved our stay at this cabin! It is so cute and cozy. Had everything we needed for our mixed age family - 1.5 year old, 8 year old, teenager, dog, and parents. Kids loved the play room, and making smores over the fire outside on the deck. Such a peaceful area. Felt private and clean. The host was quick with responses! We would stay again.
I cannot say enough about how great this cabin was. Perfect for our family as we were there for a wedding. So much space, well kept, and had so many amenities. My wife even commented that she would love to own a place like this for us to use more regularly. A huge thank you to our hosts!!
Quaint cabin, everything was as advertised, plenty of room for 8 people (4 adults, 4 teens) plus a dog. Marybeth even allowed us to check out late to accommodate skiing on check-out day.
This was a beautiful property inside and out! They had everything we could possibly need and then some! The home owner was kind and answered any inquiries I had within minutes of being contacted. I highly reccomend this rental!
The property is well-situated for leaf-peeping. Many great hikes are close by. It seemed to be well-stocked for families with kids even though we didn't need that.
The Cabin had a great layout for a family. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Host was very helpful with minor questions. Hikes in local area were awesome.
there was plenty of room for everyone to have their space
very close to Wellington State park
my grandsons loved the toy room
Games were played and memories were made :)
Everything was clean and amazing. I think the listing wasn’t very clear, there was supposed to be a bed in the common space as well as a futon. There was a “bed” in the closet that could roll out. And that room is a full play room at this point.
This was our third year at the cabin. It was as comfortable and well-supplied as always. My husband's favorite place was sitting on the front porch in the morning with his coffee and the paper. It was a great location for everything we wanted to do - beach time at Wellington, morning hikes, and blueberry picking.
We spend 2 nights over New Years in the Cabin. While the weather did not cooperate, the cabin and host really helped. The Cabin is perfectly equipped for a family with kids. Playroom with an abundance of toys, a great Livingroom and cozy kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were easy to work with and helpful. They were accommodating in anyway they could. We will be back! I highly recommend for a woods and Lake getaway. enjoy what NH has to offer.
Six of us enjoyed the many features of this well appointed log cabin home. Much of the time was spent together around the large dining room table where we enjoyed games, conversations and meals. The cabin was clean and located close to Newfound Lake and is a great home base for all of what northern NH has to offer.
If you love peace and quiet and the understated charm of a log cabin, stay here!
This was exactly as advertised with plenty of room for all. My Dad couldn’t do the stairs, but he was very comfortable sleeping on the pull out futon downstairs. Marybeth was flexible with our request upon checking in and the house had absolutely everything we needed.
We had a very nice time in this log cabin. The property was exactly what was listed. The bedrooms were nice and accommodated my entire group - 6 adults, 3 kids. One kid slept on the futon in the playroom. He said it was pretty comfortable and it worked out fine. There was another twin roll away in one of the closets, but it was a little too small so we chose not to use it. It did have a washer and dryer, but they were quite old. However they did work without any problem. The cabin had everything we needed. However for some things we had to really search around and find them. Not all the towels and sheets were kept in one area. So we had to search and find where they were all located. There were not many extra towels so my group of 9 needed every one we could find. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. We did not have any issues during our stay so we did not have any need to contact the host.
Wonderful Family Friendly Cabin with lots of ament
Cabin was perfect for our family of four with plenty of room for our 3 year old and 9 year old to feel like they both had their own space. Cabin located in quiet area and short 5 minute drive to great hiking trails and Newfound Lake and 10 minute drive to downtown Bristol with great coffee shops. Ragged Mountain only 20 minutes away and Gunstock only 40 so easy to enjoy skiing, snow tubing, hiking and so much more. Extended our stay an additional night because we didn’t want to leave. Will be back again next February for sure.
The house was great for our family b/c we have a 1 year old and they have gates already installed. The only drawback was we stayed during one of the few major heat waves in NH and there isn't air conditioning. Luckily there were fans in each room and ceiling fans so that made it doable. Clean, comfy, and great for our family.

Ok rental
it was ok. We texted the host about the back door not being able to lock. We were told just to 'play around with it".And, if I am on vacation at your cabin and it snows, you should have people already in place. My daughter almost blew up her engine trying to get out. texted to say thanks for having us and never got response.
