Our cottage features a garage for secure storage & cleaning of your bike & trailer.
A short walk to all the amenities that the village of Baddeck has to offer and centrally located for your exploration of the Cabot Trail and beautiful Cape Breton Island.

Just what we needed for our stay in Baddeck. We used it as our "home base" for our day trips to the Cabot Trail, Inverness, and many other sites in the area. Was nice to have the option of making some meals in-house. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location in Baddeck

We stayed at Selkie’s Rest (Green) four nights at the end of September. It was a perfect location to explore the east side of Cape Breton and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the nightly Ceilidh Gathering in Baddeck. Selkie’s Rest is charming, quiet, spotless, and well equipped. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This was a great spot. We had been on the road for over a month and having the ability to easily unload in the finished garage area was awesome. The studio apartment was great and had everything we needed. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Cannot say enough about the beautiful home we stayed in. We had everything we needed the place was well appointed and very clean. Michelle was a wonderful host and checked in with us to make sure all was going well. If ever we return to Baddeck this is where we will stay.
