We had a great week at Rumbling Bald! The property was perfect for our family of eight. There was plenty of room for everyone and everything we needed for the week. We could walk to most of the resort amenities, although we usually drove ;-). Fran made sure everything was taken care of and kept us informed of any needed information during the week. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to Lake Lure.

The house was perfect for our family and the host was very quick to respond to my questions. Although you can walk to the amenities, we did not because of the steep slopes and narrow/winding roads. It was a perfect house for us.

The rental was as-described on the site and the host was great. Beautiful location. Restful. Do you have children? This Rumbling Bald community gives you access to all their recreational facilities: three pools, lazy river, mini golf, beach, pickle ball, corn hole, golf. So, if you aren't wanting to travel 20 min to the various recreational sites around Lake Lure, then Rumbling Bald gives you a nearby place to have fun WITHOUT HAVING TO DRIVE OFF-SITE. This, our family decided, was one of the biggest plusses of this property.

Short get away vacation

Got in a quick vacation with the family. Had a great time at the house and using the club amenities. Kids loved to foosball, swimming pool, fire pit and pickle ball courts. Plenty of room and great location.

Beautiful cabin stay

The perfect spot for a weekend getaway with some friends. The view from the back deck was stunning. It was located perfectly to use the resorts amenities without feeling like you were in a tourist spot. I would absolutely stay here again

Perfect Family Retreat

We LOVED our stay! Our son's wedding was held lakeside at Rumbling Bald this week. This home was the perfect place for our extended family to dine, play, relax and sleep over our long fall weekend celebration.
