Perfect location for my family of 4, including 2 teenagers. We floated the Buffalo, saw the elk, walked to Ozark Cafe for breakfast and dinner, stopped by the Pizza Co. for a large cookie, and the Filling Station for ice cream! Great communication! Perfect for us!
We stayed here as part of an outdoors focused trip and it was a great location. Short drive into horseshoe canyon ranch and right off the main road to head up to Eureka or down to the larger mountains. We mostly slept and cooked and it served our geoup of 5 very well!
My family and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly! The house was clean and spacious, and the location was ideal for a perfect vacation. Communication with owner was great.
My Mama and a friend and I came to Jasper for a quick weekend away. Our stay was wonderful! Rebecca was extremely responsive and the space was clean and in a great location. We plan to come back!
One of the cleanest VBRO stays I ever had. It had everything we needed when friends came to town for a school reunion. Love the fire pit the first night. The weather was perfect for it. We will definitely stay again.
We came for a long weekend to rock climb nearby. The house is very convenient to outdoorsy stuff and the things the little town of Jasper has to offer (we liked the Jasper Pizza Co--delicious and has gluten-free crust available). Notes: very clean, not fancy but is homey, kitchen has the basics, the beds are comfy, there's not a lot of seating in the living room, the neighborhood is nice and tranquil, excellent communication with host. We were very happy staying here!
Beautiful cottage, great setup, slept great. Owner does great responding to questions. 45 minutes from Tyler Bend. But there great places to swim in the area.
The place was clean and comfortable. The fireplace heater was not working in the living room so it was chilly for quite a while (although it only dipped into the 40's and 50's at night) until we got the other heat sources going for a while. It was a quaint, small cottage type place. We enjoyed staying there and we would stay again. :) Responsive hosts too! :)
Small house with three spacious bedrooms. One bath with a stationary showroom with great water pressure. Small kitchen and no dishes but has everything you’ll need. We’d definitely stay here again.
Very comfortable stay. Clean house. Prompt response time. Everything we needed. Place at the river is superb. Wish the river wasn’t so low when we went. Gonna have to make it out in the sling. Would definitely book this little cottage again!!! Jasper is a perfect little get away. We cannot wait to do it again!
We enjoyed staying at this cottage. We wanted to stay close to town and this was perfect.
We were within walking distance to Sharon K’s Café and around the corner from the Ozark Café. And of course it’s always a treat to visit with Emma at Emma’s Museum of Junk. She and her place add so much character to the town of Jasper. The people of the town are so friendly and I hope the charm of the town remains for a long time. We took the opportunity to go to Eureka Springs and Branson, both of which are close to this location. The fall colors were amazing!
The house was perfect for our stay. We could walk to the local shops and cafes. There is a great park with swimming area a few minutes down the road. The owner let us use her kayaks and private river front property. It was perfect!!! Peaceful and definitely would return. The fireplace and extra sitting outside was really nice. There are so many places to hike and explore near by!!!
We enjoyed our stay and loved the cottage minutes away from everything. Our host was very accommodating and my family loved kayaking behind owners property.
The cottage was set up nicely. We enjoyed going to spend the day on their property on the river. The only thing I suggest is some kind of light in the back sitting area.
Great little cottage in jasper. Very clean. The host brought us farm chicken eggs and quail eggs! My girls loved trying the quail eggs. Kitchen space is limited, so cooking large meals can be a challenge.
