We had a great time at the Highland Hideaway. Our kids really loved seeing the highland cows and goats. This was a great place to come back to after a day of hiking. Everything was clean and the house was well-stocked. We definitely appreciated the alternate driveway options since the main drive had a pretty steep section that our minivan struggled the slightest with going up. Would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you for a great week!

This place was awesome! It had it all, and more! The space was wide open - indoor and outdoor. During our very little bit of downtime, the boys (dad included) enjoyed the old-school gaming system. It was fully stocked and nice and clean. Our kiddos commented they wished we could stay longer. :)

Fun for all ages! Wonderful house setup, lovely beds and bedding, Big dining table for my family of six with room to spare. Hiking trails close enough to enjoy for the day and sweet Highland cows to feed and give a scratch.

Quiet getaway

The property was in excellent condition with all of the amenities you need. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this property for anyone who wants a quiet getaway.

This is the perfect place for families or couples. The setting is breathtaking; the house is spacious and nicely equipped. It's close enough to Harrison and Jasper for shopping and adventures and perfect if you just want to relax in the home or multiple outdoor spaces. Ashley is an amazing host! I have stayed at 2 of her other locations and each is special. I loved this one the best. It was perfect for our family get-together!

This was a great house! It IS rural, which is perfect for my family, but be aware that if you are looking for "just outside with conveniences" this may be too far out for you. The house has a wonderful layout, very attractive, wonderful host with all the necessities and then some. The dry creek is neat to walk in and look at even during the dry season. The property is very private, and even though my "children" are now young adults, I would have felt safe letting smaller children have freedom to play in the yard without worry.Jasper is CUTE! It has everything you need, but maybe not everything you want. Do take note that some stores and restaurants do not open until Wednesday, but we were able to find basic groceries, some cute shops and good food even if we weren't there for everything. We didn't take part in any of the water activities because we were too busy hiking. We didn't want to leave.

Cozy and peaceful

I had a wonderful stay here with my friends for a girl's weekend. The beds were comfy and cozy. We had everything we needed! Loved the fire pit by the bluff and there was plenty of firewood. The massage chair was a bonus we all enjoyed, also! Spacious and clean house, lots to do, overall a great rental! The cows and horses were fun to visit with, too :)

Beautiful Property

The house was clean and very nice. We enjoyed our time there. Our only problem was the VRBO website showed the property right in the city of Jasper but it was 10 miles east which was not where we were wanting to be.

Our stay was perfect.

We couldn't have asked for a better spot. Our weekend rock climbing in the area was a little cold and wet, but this home is so well situated for many public lands and activities. The kids loved the arcade and the parents loved the beautiful property. The house was more than we expected!

Quiet and Relaxing

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here! The house provided everything we needed for a relaxing break away from the city. Besides the adorable highland cows, our favorite part was the large fire pit. The house was large enough for our family of five spread out comfortably, and the proximity to hiking trails was spot on. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
