Relax in our clean, private, bright & spacious one-bedroom apartment/guest suite, attached to but completely separate from our house, with it's own private deck and entrance. Vaulted ceilings, skylights, full kitchen w/dishwasher, full bath, washer/dryer, in a quiet yet close-to-town setting. Nature all around. **Guests must drive on approximately 1.5 miles of unpaved road to get here!**

Hello! I'm Chris and we've lived in this house since the turn of the century (2000)! When travelling we've always preferred renting a home or apartment vs. a hotel, and I'm happy to offer our completely private guest suite apartment (attached to, but completely separate from, our home) for those who want to do the same. My husband grew up in Ann Arbor, I graduated from U of M and we simply never left this charming, vibrant community. We love our open space and nature, having downtown and campus only minutes away and would love to share it with you!
Why they chose this property
We are at the end of a private, unpaved road with only seven houses on it. It is very quiet with nature all around, which creates the feeling of being way out in the country with every convenience just 3 or so miles away. We are 6-7 miles (about 10-15 minutes) from the stadium and downtown Ann Arbor with all it has to offer, as well as conveniently located (~10-20 minutes) to the surrounding smaller communities of Chelsea, Dexter, Manchester, Pickney, Ypsilanti. Frutig Farms wedding venue is 2.3 miles away. Please note that due to slower travel on the unpaved portion of the road (about 1.5 miles) you will need to plan accordingly. If you are looking to be immersed in a 'downtown' experience, or aren't ok with driving on unpaved roads, then I can confidently say this is not a good fit for you! :-)

Beautiful, quiet setting that feels completely 'out in the country' with nature all around, yet all the conveniences of grocery stores, restaurants, etc., only 3 miles away!
