Adventure Awaits

Goldie's Getaway served as an excellent place to wind down after our days of watersports and hiking. The house way very clean when we arrived and everything that you might need for your stay were in cabinets that had labels for easy finding in the kitchen and bathrooms. We went during the last week of June where the temperature and humidity was high, but the A/C kept up very well and the ceiling fans on the screened in front porch helped make it bearable to be outside to relax and enjoy the scenery. The hot tub is in the shade an hour or two after noon and if not turned on can stay at a cooler temperature to relax in when it's hot outside. The cabin is in a nice and quiet wooded area, about 10-15 minutes from everything, such as, Carson Creek Recreation Area, Eagle Drive Dayuse Area, and Mountain Fork River. The owner was very helpful if we had any questions and made some wonderful recommendations. Our group of 4 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I personally feel Broken Bow is more geared to families with children, but if you're up for a little research and adventure you can find some nice, secluded areas away from everyone.

Wonderful Time!

Goldie’s had everything we needed and more. Our kids age 13 and 10 loved the loft, game tables and hot tub. We made s’mores at the fire pit and cooked steaks on the grill. We loved the large covered porch and the kitchen was spacious and fully equipped. Located very near the marina where we had a great experience renting a boat for the day. The lake was beautiful and not too crowded even on the holiday weekend. Lots more to do and places to eat less than a mile from the property. Quiet neighborhood, peaceful getaway. Would stay here again!
