Get away from the everyday grind in Lake Almanor and soak up all that small town lake life has to offer. We hope you enjoy our large home with lots of living space perfect for gathering with family and friends. It comes with all of the necessary amenities needed to enjoy your stay to the fullest. This home has a unique layout which allows you to play pool while watching TV, as well as keep an eye on the kids while they watch TV in the second living room. Another unique characteristic this house has would be the waterfall and pond in the back patio area. While very beautiful and serene, it can be dangerous when children are outside without adult supervision. This is why we have put extra measures for safety in place but still expect the guests to keep small children away from the pond or supervised at all times while near it. This house is in an awesome location on the peninsula and is within walking distance to the water. We are across the street from the golf course so don't be surprised if you see people driving by on their carts in the summer months. We are also a 35minute drive to the back of Mount Lassen Volcanic National Park if you enjoy beautiful hikes.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A CLUB FEE OF $150 THAT IS PAID DIRECTLY TO THE CLUB WHEN REGISTERING. This allows access to all the amenities available(This is their fee not ours, we also pay a fee) 1 security camera facing the road and Ring Doorbell.

The club offers two boat launches, beaches, playgrounds, tennis courts, and live music on certain summer weekends. If you wish to bring your own boat the fee is $100 which is paid directly to the country club. Driveway is large enough to accommodate reasonably sized boat. The house was beautifully decorated and spacious. We were close to the water and other events we wanted to do. We enjoyed the scenery and especially the pond with waterfall in the back yard. The host Brady had good communication and had us set up prior to arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family and friends had a great time here! The house was very clean and exactly as described on the site. Our kids said it was "the best house" we've stayed at! Lake Almanor at it's finest!

We had a wonderful family reunion at Lake Almanor! This home was perfect for our stay! The home was very clean with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Such an incredibly beautiful home!!! Guys Trip for Golf

The house was perfect for our 3 day golf trip. Great location which was close to Bailey Creek, Country Club, and restaurants... Large enough for 8 people to move around comfortably with two living rooms, kitchen well equipped and large enough to cook/serve in. Brady was very attentive and checked in several times to make sure everything was going well. Would definitely rent again and love the area

Beautiful home close to all activities

We had a great family vacation - there was fun activities for everyone from the nice beach area for the toddlers to the easy boat launch and fishing for others and a beautiful relaxing home for us all . Tons of activities available and we loved watching the deer drink from the koi pond . Brady was available and easy to communicate with . We all had a fun , relaxing time . We love Lake Almanor and this house was just perfect for us .

We had a great stay at Lake Almanor. Brady is very nice and responsive. Makes the whole process easy and quickly answers any questions you may have. The house is large and comfortable. Lake Almanor is a great area. Lake is beautiful and fun to use the various activities in the community. Also a great jumping off point for exploring Lassen national park, which is a beautiful spot for hiking. Highly recommend! Thanks Brady for a great stay

Beautiful house - great location

This is a great house for a large family or 3 couples or a group of friends. There is plenty of room for everyone! The house is lovely and was spotless when we got there. Just be aware that on top of the rental price, there's a $150 fee for the Country Club, but staying in the country club is very nice as you have 2 beach areas to choose from and there's lots going on in the summer. Owner was great to work with too. No issues at all.

Brady's property is everything you would expect from a vacation rental. Immaculately clean, beautiful inside and out. After a long day of work, it felt like vacation! The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked with more than everything we needed. And Brady let us know we were welcome to contact him if we needed anything else! Excellent customer service! Perfect Getaway!

We had the best time staying at Brady and Family's place in Lake Almanor. The home was just perfect for our family. The community it is in is lovely, with many activities and live music on the weekend. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in their backyard and played several rounds of disc golf at the club's new course. Brady was incredibly kind to communicate useful information throughout our trip. It was a quick drive to Knotty Pine Resort to rent jet skis and kayaks. We had a great fishing trip with Captain Robb. And it is very easy to get up to Lassen Volcanic National Park for completely unique day hikes. We would love to come back!

Everything went as smooth as a can be with checking in, finding the place, going thru the gate to get our parking pass, etc. It was a beautiful spacious home. The deck next to the Koi Pond and water fall is a beautiful and relaxing place to hang out. I even did some work on my computer there. And the house was very well-stocked with all the essentials. We only had 4 people but there was lots of room for more! We did have a large group over for dinner one night -- 6 parents at the table outside & 5 adult kids at the table inside. Plenty of room! Highly recommend this place for your family/friends vacation!

LACC perfect peace

We had the opportunity to stay at this lovely home. The owner was extremely responsive. He went above and beyond to communicate what I should expect. He also established an easy line of communication, if it were to be needed. The house was extremely clean, had everything inside we needed or wanted including a pool table. It was so relaxing at the house. We enjoyed the calmness of sipping a cup of coffee outside on the deck while listening to the waterfall and pond. I would highly recommend this home to any family looking for a nice, quiet location that is central to all of the Lake Almanor activities.

Excellent VRBO Experience in Lake Almanor Despite Earthquakes

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Brady's home. It was a clean, freshly painted, and well-appointed house in Lake Almanor. Despite some unexpected earthquakes during our visit, we couldn't be happier with the overall experience as first timers at the Lake. The host's attentiveness and responsiveness truly stood out, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the house was exceptional. It was thoroughly cleaned, and everything was well-maintained. It was evident that the host takes great pride in providing an exceptional environment for guests. The decor was tasteful creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The pool table, games, puzzles, and coy pond with waterfall added to the overall lake experience. The furniture and amenities were of high quality, making it feel like a home away from home. The bed in the master bedroom was especially comfortable with a beautiful updated master bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, allowing for convenient meal preparation. Despite the unfortunate earthquakes that occurred during our stay, I was amazed at the host's attentiveness and responsiveness. Brady provided us with his cell number and promptly reached out to ensure our safety and comfort. He was genuinely concerned about our safety, walked us through relighting the pilot light that tripped during the quake and offered assistance if/when needed. This level of care and concern made us feel secure and well-taken care of during a very stressful situation. Throughout our stay, Brady remained attentive and accessible. They were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had, offering helpful suggestions and recommendations for local attractions and activities. Brady's familiarity with the area and procedures added value to our experience, enabling us to make the most of our time in Lake Almanor Country Club. In conclusion, we highly recommend this VRBO rental in Lake Almanor.

I grew up in Chico California and vacationed in Lake Almanor at every opportunity. My significant other and I now live in Redding California where we work in the healthcare field. She is from Chicago and fell in love with Almanor on our first visit. We feel very fortunate to share our home with you.

Why they chose this property

This home provides a large living area with lots of room for socializing and entertainment. The first living room has a pool table, TV, small bar and comfortable seating for the adults. The 2nd living room has a wood stove, TV, and board games perfect for kids or adults. The master bedroom(eagles nest) is a large room with TV, Cal king bed, two walk in closets, private bathroom and a great view. The second bedroom(bear cave) also has a California king bed, while the 3rd bedroom(wolves den) has two full beds that are great for kids or adults. All bedrooms have memory foam mattresses and two types of pillows for comfort. (common area air mattress available on request)
The Kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, knife set, dishware, glassware, two sinks, double ovens and everything you should need to prepare meals. The dinning table seats 8 and the patio (only separated by a window) seats 4. Enjoy your dinner inside or out with a view of the pond and waterfall!
