Love the way the kitchen was stocked. Could use more lids on storage items but definetely nice cookware, dishware, utensils,etc. Decor was nice and comfy. Dressers in bedroom could be larger...Beautiful view and beach access.

Great Location

We stayed one week in this property, there were 6 of us and we had plenty of room to enjoy our time. The house was adequately furnished, it had everything we needed for the week. The access to the beach was wonderful and the property manager was easy to work with and very prompt on replying to all questions we had. I can highly recommend staying at this property.

We loved our stay at Love Pocean! I got up every morning and greeted the sunrise with a cup of coffee! Loved being right on the ocean! We also watched the stars come out every night! SO breathtaking! Truly like diamonds in the sky ! I loved baking in the kitchen and being able to look out out the ocean! The kitchen was fabulous with everything I could use to bake!The beds were so comfortable! King size !! Loved the seafood restaurants especially Jolly Roger’s and Darrell’s!Loved riding the Hatteras Ocracoke ferry 2 times!!We picked up passports from the Park service and got stamps at all of the lighthouses as well as the Wilburton Orville Wright, monument, and the last colony! Highly recommend doing that!Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Worrell 1000 week

Very nice property, well done new kitchen, appliances and all utensils. Deck was perfect for morning coffee and happy hour. Beach was a short walk over the dune. Like the location - walking distance to Fishheads - great place to drink, eat and listen to music. First couple days were cold - so we put a 1000 piece puzzle together! We were there to see the Worrell 1000. It is a 1000 mile beach catamaran (18') race broken up into 12 legs. Loved eating at Mulligans, Mama Kwans, Sam & Omie's, Tortuga Lie, Trio and Duck Donuts.

I hesitated to initially send this as I’ve never really found them that impactful. Multiple issues with our stay. 1) The upstairs was 80 degrees by 9:00 am. The HVAC is underrated to compete with the sun. Worse yet, only white shears were provided upstairs which provide no barrier. Same goes for the triangular windows…nothing to help mitigate sun. Unbelieveably uncomfortable. Worse yet, here’s a box fan on the family room floor when we get there. Like an acknowledgement of the issue….2) Bathrooms showers were gross. Mildew build up all over the shower head. I took pictures. You take a shower to be clean, not to have mildew water on you. The caulking is mildewed and worse yet, due to the humidity problem in the house, there is mildew on the walls/ceiling in bathrooms. I took pictures. The whole downstairs smells of mildew and our kids complained.3) Carpets are very dirty… they smell and hold sand.4) There were literally piles of sand in the family room and kitchen when we got there. Big piles under the kitchen table and if you moved the ottoman in the family room, nobody has clearly cleaned there in a very long time.5) While having a washer and dryer is a must for us as we don’t rewear clothes or reuse towels, this was located outside. Big problem when trying to dry beach towels, it’s 90 degrees out with 75% plus humidity. Took hours for them to dry each evening. 6) The massive dune should be called out. No stairs.Place is way overpriced.
