An adorable carriage house with panoramic views overlooking Swan Creek, located on a private road. Nature lovers and bird watchers would have a grand time here, with frequent Bald Eagles sightings during winter/spring, ospreys and many other waterfowls, birds by your window in summer. Centrally located: 3 blocks from town beach, restaurants across the road and Rock Hall downtown within walkable distance, next to two local marina. Your private dock through Blue Heron Marsh to Swan Creek.

Enjoyable Weekend Retreat

We enjoyed our stay so much. It was so private and quiet. It was also nice to be able to bike ride where ever we needed to go. It was perfect!! We plan on going back soon!!

Rock Hall - quiet beauty

My wife and I took a few days to kayak, read, talk, knit and enjoy all that Rock Hall offers in the Fall. The “Bird House” was a cozy base for our adventures.

Another great reason to love Rock Hall!

I visit Rock Hall often and this trip did not disappoint. This may be my favorite place I've stayed - well appointed and cozy. Out of every window were beautiful views and the location was the perfect amount of quiet nature while still being close to town. The local restaurants, entertainment, and scenic views make this one of my favorite towns to visit, and I will surely be back to "the Birdhouse"!
