This home is pristine clean. The host were exceptional and didn’t forget a thing to make you feel at home morning, noon and night. Will definitely stay again.
The cottage was just as depicted in the listing. Location was excellent and easy to find, plenty of off-street parking. The interior was super clean and prepped for us, including very nice personal touches. Everything in the house worked well. We were very happy with our stay.
We have stayed here since the property opened, 3x/year. It’s our “home away from home” when we’re in Annapolis visiting family. Couldn’t be more perfect for us—wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
Our host when above and beyond to make our stay most pleasant The home was sparkling clean and very cozyThe hot tub was perfectI would recommend this place to everyone

We so so glad you enjoyed you birthdays at the cottage.
The cottage was a great place to stay with charming outdoor spaces nestled in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to Sandy Point and other local attractions. The hosts were gracious and ensured our needs were met throughout our stay.
House was quiet, comfortable, very well laid out and the hosts have added many creature comforts and are highly responsive. As a late age couple this home is perfect for two and pets. Yard is not fully fenced but could be very easily fenced making it over the top for pet owners.

We stay at Firefly every time we go to visit our son and his family. It works perfectly for us…an oasis for us, and a fun place for the kids to visit, too. Pat and Ken have been the perfect hosts!

Best VRBO I've experienced yet. Pat and Ken went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, and the property/location has everything you could ask for.
Pat and Ken’s Firefly Cottage is our favorite home away from home. This is our second stay and we loved every moment of our visit. We are looking forward to our return trip.

This guest was ideal. He communicated well before and during his visit. He politely admired the local area, comparing various features to things he likes about his home town. He expressed appreciation for our home, specifically pointing out design features and extra amenities we installed. We enjoyed his visit and would welcome him back anytime.
Thank you Yelena! We are looking forward to seeing you again! Pat and Ken
About the host
Hosted by Patricia Yargus
My husband I live in this neighborhood. As a veteran family we lived in many parts of the country and the world, and initially thought Annapolis was a nice temporary home. As we raised 4 children here we found it to be a pleasant place to stay. Ken and I have become a thread in the tapestry of the community. We hope that by bringing this unique home to the public, we will prevent it from being torn down and replaced by a large modern house that would not reflect the area's past. We hope to be successful in this goal, and to help our guests to enjoy the house and area as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
This is our first vacation rental. We loved it because of this amount of light it has. Numerous southern-facing windows allow the house to be cheerful, inviting and warm. The house itself is petit mais puissant, small but mighty. The living room, kitchen bedroom and bath are all a nice size. Each is wrapped in warm light and comfort. The community is quiet, safe and welcoming. We loved the yard and the fact that it sits alone on a 1/4 acre of land. It is quick 8-minute walk to the beach. There is also history and great food nearby. All of these characteristics makes Firefly Cottage the ideal place to enjoy a leisurely holiday.
What makes this property unique
Beach within 0.4 miles, 8 minute walk. Lots of parking. Exclusive use of a small house on a large lot, in a quiet safe neighborhood.
