The backyard has a room for play and beautiful landscaping cover around as a privacy and living space in a beach-area home. We look forward to hosting you in our in Pelican House!

The house provided the perfect set up for our family (5 adults and 2 children). We ended up renting a full sized crib but that process was also very smooth. It was so nice to be steps from the beach and also have a small pool for the kids. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by, but the house is fully equipped for cooking/grilling. We had such a great time!

We had a great stay at the Pelican nest! Home is well appointed and very clean. A few things were difficult/unable to be found- extra sheets/pillow cases. Some things need better maintenance-or upgrading from use-like pool chairs, pull out mattresses, beach chairs. The house is a very short walk (3 mins) from the beach. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets nightly! Pool is small but our kids all loved it. We would definitely stay here again!

Manasota Key’s Finest

The house is easy to find and very close to the beach. Ownership has it very well stocked and it was as clean as anywhere you’ve ever visited. Having two kitchens was really nice and the private pool was a relaxing way to close out the day. This will definitely be a repeat vacation destination for my family.

Fabulous experience

We loved the house. There were fresh flower arrangements everywhere when we arrived. There were places to have privacy and many gathering spots. The house was spotless. Alena saw to a few minor issues right away and we were off hunting sharks teeth and living the beach life. We would return for a second visit Gavin the opportunity!

We enjoyed our selves enough in this home to want to book it again next year for the same week if possible. I wish the pool had been a little bit bigger, but for our small grandchildren, it worked well. Thank you for a great week at the beach.

First, I’ll start out with positives…. This VRBO was in a great location. My Family has been coming to Englewood for many many years. Sadly, the rental we stayed in every year was destroyed in the hurricane a few years back. Only steps from the beach, it was in a fabulous spot- very private and lovely. The pool area was very nice. Negatives… 1. the listing mentions “heated pool” but then when you actually book, they tell you that each day is an additional 50 fee for them to heat the pool. We DID opt to do this, much to our dismay with the misleading information, and it was still very, very chilly. 2. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the home upon arrival. There were hairs in the bathrooms, crumbs in the fridge (AND leftover food), and dusty areas. It was also very obvious that the main steps in the entryway of the house had not been vacuumed. You’d think with what we paid, it would be extremely clean.3. The hot water ran out VERY quickly. After two others took showers, mine was ice cold. I messaged the owner about it, and she replied back, telling me I might not know how to operate the shower. She then proceeded to say that you had to wait for the water to recirculate every day before taking more showers in order to have hot water. 4. Lastly, the day after we checked out, I recieved a message saying that 9 towels were missing and the pull out was broken. When I told her that we had not stolen towels and that the pullout was not used she said nevermind.

Thank you for receive the property . We can see that one week staying at the property was not blessing , The question is : Why did you continue staying ? For the future guest. The pool heating option is available for an additional fee, and this information is clearly disclosed in the property listing before booking.Hot water, is a standard residential water heater.When a large group is staying at the property and multiple showers are taken consecutively, the hot water supply may temporarily run low and require time to recover and reheat. We also take cleanliness concerns very seriously. Our cleaning professional has nearly 30 years of experience and documents each cleaning with approximately 20 to 40 photographs, which are reviewed before guest arrival. We did not observe any of the issues described in the review based on the photographs taken immediately prior to check-in. Additionally, we did not receive any report regarding cleanliness concerns during the costumers staying . Regarding the towels, our checkout instructions ask guests to place all used towels and linens in a designated location before departure. After checkout, the items were not found, and we contacted you simply to determine whether they had been misplaced. At no point did we accuse you of taking or stealing any items. Once the towels were located, the matter was immediately resolved. We appreciate all guest feedback and continuously strive to provide the best possible experience.

Beautiful house

The house is beautiful, beds are comfortable, kitchen is stocked beautifully!The pool is definitely on the small side, but our five grandchildren and two adults were all able to be in the pool at the same time and play together.The devastation of the hurricane was still all around us, but the cleanup process was going full speed, and the beach cleanup was very nicely done and still in progress.We were sad some of our favorite restaurants were still closed, but the Waverly restaurant was open and it has excellent food and service. And there’s plenty of restaurants on the mainland.We still had a wonderful time in spite of the hurricane and highly recommend this house.

Family Beach Week

Wonderful time with family at my favorite beach in Florida. Calm, quiet, secluded, peaceful and very relaxing. The Pelican House is convenient to everything you need and want, including great restaurants, and has amazing bedrooms and bathrooms for all guests. It was perfect!

The Villa has 2 levels. Each level has kitchen, living aria , dining table, both levels has blankets and pillows and on each level has pull up sofa to sleep. Beach towels, chairs , umbrella ,bikes, BBQ. Pool is heated. you just need let me know when you want open up prior your arrival.
We are 5 min walk to Manasota Beach , that will be on you right side on the house. And Bay access , that will be cross the street.we have other beaches around like Boca Grande maybe 25 min drive .Venice beach maybe 15 min drive.
