Comfortable Apartment

A well furnished apartment with all the essentials for a comfortable holiday, lots of space and good outdoor seating/dining. The views across the bay to the harbour from terrace and bedrooms are excellent. It is a great apartment for anyone without mobility impairment as the access road is a long set of stairs. The owners and local staff were helpful and accommodating making for a trouble-free stay.

Lovely Dubrovnik

Hi, just back from a great 16 nights in Dubrovnik. The apartment was like a home from home, from the moment our taxi picked us up till leaving, everything was perfect. It was in a great location with some exercise steps each night to burn off the ice cream, and a tortoise hunt every time we went out! Thankyou for letting us into your home. Simon and kids.

Apartment near Dubrovnik Old Town

Excellent property, but I think it should have been made clearer on the listing how many steps there were to get down to the beach and old town and up to the road. The check in process was very good, everyone extremely helpful.

As usual everything was first class and everything ran like clockwork. Marija is a perfect host and arranged everything for us superbly. We love it there. This was our fourth time and we will definitely be back. Victor , Elaine and family.

Lovely apartment, great views.

Lovely well appointed apartment, with great views from all rooms. Very comfortable and ideally suited to 2 couples or small family group. Only minutes walk from Ploce gate and Banje beach. Apartment is quite a few steps up from road but well worth the effort.

Fantastic apartment with beautiful views and spacious terrace.

Had a great week at Marija’s apartment. It has everything you might need, a lovely terrace to eat outside with views over Banje beach and beyond, a great place to watch the mega yachts coming and going & a separate balcony that gets the sun till sunset- it was great!

Really lovely house in fantastic location, few minutes walk to beach, old town, lovely bakery etc.

Highly recommend this lovely house, home from home. Marija has organised everything for ultimate convenience and comfort for her guests. Had fantastic holiday in Dubrovnik and will definitely go back. Highly recommend a stay here!

Just Perfect

The location was great just beside old town and Banje Beach so near. The appartment was perfect for family and well equipmented. We enjoyed the sea view from terrace and from the Windows. Since beeing hot outside inside was nice and cool. And the atmosphere of the appartment was so sopihisticated since everything was working well. Interiors were designed with great taste. Fantastic apartment in a beautiful city

Marija kindly arranged for us to be met at the airport by Mario, a taxi driver whom they use regularly. Mario was very friendly and spoke great English. We were then met at the apartment by Milena and Kiko, who showed us around and took our deposit. Everything went very smoothly and Milena put her daughter on the phone to speak to us, as she spoke better English. As nobody was checking out that day, we were able to check in early and, at the end of our stay, we were able to check out late, as nobody was checking in until the next day. The apartment itself was faultless, with everything one could need for their stay, including plenty of towels, beach towels and everything one could need for cooking etc. The bedrooms are very large and the bathrooms, kitchen and living room are also a decent size. Right, that's the 'boring' bit out of the way! The views from this apartment are breathtaking! From the living room, both bedrooms and the glorious shaded terrace, it was a joy to wake up every day. The terrace itself is huge, with a shaded table area and a sunny area to dry washing, towels, etc. The house itself is located in a magical courtyard with a massive iron door leading out to the outside world. The beach is a (at most) 5 minute walk away and, if you get there early (before 9am), you pretty much have it to yourself. Dubrovnik itself, esp. The old city, is the most beautiful place I have ever visited and I have been to Prague, Florence, Venice... Must-dos include: walking round the wall, visiting the fort, the cable car and taking the ferry to Lokrum ( do this early on as you may wish to go again; it's a calm oasis away from the busy cobbles of the old city). We had an amazing trip and didn't want to leave. The locals are so friendly and the food is incredible. Also, the nightlife is quality and it's very safe to walk around at all hours. We hope to return and a big thank you to Milena's two daughters for their help when needed! Mike, Anna, Simon and John.

First class apartment. Fantastic location and views. Really well equipped. Faultless

A fantastic location to spend a week in Dubrovnik. The apartment was really well equipped and had everything you would need. Great views from both balcony and terrace and only 2 minutes from the best beach!! Only one minor downside to the location was that on the Sat night we were kept entertained by the DJs playing 'til 6am. I understand this is a rare occasion so I would not let this put anyone off. Marija was great at responding to requests before we went and responded to a minor issue with the shower and within hours it was fixed! She arranged for a taxi tor pick us up from the airport too which made arrival really easy and the family that look after the apartment locally were able to help with answering questions on Dubrovnik and about the apartment. All in all the best experience yet from HomeAway and a fab location and fantastic hosts. Thank you for letting out your family home!

Amazing apartment and lovely owner

Had the most amazing stay at this apartment, the location is just perfect. Everything you could want is in walking distance. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need. Sitting out on the balcony of an evening watching the boats go by was just lovely. Marija and her assistants family were very helpful. We will return to this apartment for many more short breaks. Fallen in love with croatia and in particular Dubrovnik. Thank you Marija for making our holiday so memorable x

Lovely apartment, well equipped, spacious with fantastic views and great location

The apartment is probably in the best possible location. It is near a local beach, amazing views from the main rooms and a lovely terrace. It is on the best side of the old town, on the opposite side of the main hotel area and the city gate where all of the cruise ship coaches converge. The walk into the old town is around 3 minutes with the entrance gate being quieter than and more appealing than the opposite size of town. The owners were very helpful arranging transportation to and from the airport plus organising a friendly welcome and orientation at the apartment on arrival. The apartment is also used as a home and was consequently fully equipped with a few nice touches such as teas and coffee available. One of the best places I have stayed.

Location and Views!

So close to Old Town. Great beach below unit. Multiple views. Ease of check-in and check out. Super clean. Apartment has everything one might need - kitchen the best = fully stocked kitchen and all appliances / cooking utensils one might need. Apartment has heat and air condition. Owner is very helpful and cooperative. We would definitely return. Recommendation - don't bring a rental car; or at least turn in once you arrive like we did. 5 star experience!

Dubrovnik's Hidden Gem

Marija is an outstanding host. The communication prior to my trip was excellent. Marija always responded in a rapid and timely manner, and she was very accommodating with my needs which included payment options, taxi service to and from the house, and contact information for emergency purposes. Marija is the owner, and Milena is the property manager who works for Marija. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the driver of taxi service Marija set up for us. He was on time and was right outside of the baggage claim. When we arrived to the house, we were greeted by Milena (property manager) who had the keys and a bottle of wine ready. The property was extremely clean, spacious, and had a warm and cozy feel. My attraction to the property was the terrace overlooking the sea, banja beach, and old town (all in one view). There was a/c in the bedrooms which worked very well, and the noise from banja beach was not an issue at all. A previous review mentioned noise issue, but we did not encounter this at all. Although we spent most of our time outside of the house, we had no issues whatsoever with this property. Marija even created a binder with all the numbers to call, restaurants to visit, and things to do. The property is in a very safe location, 1 minute (walking) from banja beach, 4 min (walking) from old town. This property is located in an excellent location, and I will stay here again when I return. I was more than satisfied with this property. JP

Wonderful apartment with best location in Dubrovni

When we arrived we were meet up by a local contact that introduced the apartment and gave us a lot of tip on what to do in Dubrovnik during our stay. The apartment had 2 bathrooms and there were 2 balcony’s with great view over the Old Town and the harbor. The location of the apartment couldn’t be better. Since Dubrovnik is quit steep we didn’t have to climb all slopes since the apartments location was so close to the beach. We had 5 minutes’ walk to the Old Town. And 3 minutes’ walk to supermarkets and bakery. In the apartment the owner had made a folder with tips on what to do during our stay and that was a helpful guide for us. We would strongly recommend this wonderful apartment mostly because it has all you need to have that feeling of being home, and the location is in our opinion one of the best in Dubrovnik. Beautiful apartment, stunning location

This apartment is in an excellent location with beautiful views over the sea from several different angles. It's three minutes walk to the gate of go old town. The apartment is really well laid out and has effective air-conditioning and good WiFi. The furniture and equipment are in great condition and the kitchen is well equipped. This is one of the best apartments we've stayed in and in one of the best locations ever-there's lots to do in Dubrovnik.

Amazing - Again

Amazing - Again Again - we spent a wonderful week in "Cypress" . The views from every room, balcony and terrace are "one million dollar views". The Appartment is taylored for lovers of " good life" and Classical Interior Design. Best views!!! Beach is " pieds dans l' eau" Shops, Bakery, Travel Agent, Money change - only 2 minutes away. The Appartment is very well equipped - like a private home- with silver plated cutlery! This "mediterranean Pearl" is very well maintained by Mrs. Milena Limov. Her very warm and friendly welcome makes you feel like coming home to your own home. This year we were lucky to join the Dubrovnik Summerfestival with lots of concerts and open galleries. One night we had dinner on the beautiful terrace, with wonderful views to the illuminated historical center and : we did listen to the Verdi - Nabucco life chorus of Dubrovnik : Unforgetable!!!!!! We are very thankful to the owners Marija and Hasse Hedberg. Thank you for sharing "Cypress" with guests from all over the world. Thank you for your very friendly and helpful conversation. Heaven!

Look no further. This villa has everything - jaw dropping views, spacious and functional layout, and well-equipped throughout, especially the kitchen. Very clean as well. We only spent 4 nights at the villa but I can easily imagine staying longer. The walk to town is very short and there's a nice bakery on the way. We loved being above Banje beach. Dubrovnik is a gorgeous city. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this is one of the best. The owners have equipped it in the most generous way and have thought about the little details. We hope to return one day. Marija was also very responsive to all my emails and questions. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

A week in Dubrovnik

Our week in Dubrovnik was in every way absolutely fantastic.. The apartment was really nice with a 5-10 minute walk to the old town and all the restaurants. Fresh nice bathrooms , super modern kitchen with all conceivable equipment. The bedrooms are large and airy with AC. A large terrace with wonderful views of the sea . Great beach just below the apartment where you could swim in the beautiful water. Our trip exceeded all our expectations on all levels. We can highly recommend a trip to Dubrovnik and this nice apartment .

Amazin

The apartment far exceeded our expections, it is of a very high standard, welcoming and homely. The views are breathtaking, you are far enough from the beach but close enough to people watch. If you are looking for something that takes your breath away for views then this is the apartment and location for you. It is very safe and secure, not that this is an issue in Dubrovnic but for me this is important. It was also quiet and very relaxing if you just want to spend a day on the balcony watching the boats go by. There is a supermarket and bakery within 5min walk and all are reasonably priced and you can find most things there. A must is a tour of the city walls, Game of Thrones and Lokrum Island. We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and Dubrovnic they are both amazin.

Fantastic apartment

This apartment is wonderful, very clean , well equipt with everything we could have possibly needed It is spacious and very comfortable but for us it is the breath taking views it has from the terrace and balcony of the sea, beach and old town that it makes it spectacular and the beach is just at the bottom of the street Marija the owner is amazing as is Melina and her lovely family who greeted us on arrival This was our second stay and we will definetly be going back . 😘😘

Lovely apartment in Dubrovnik

Marija's apartment is gorgeous. The view of the old town from the balcony couldn't have been better. The terrace for family meals was lovely. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped. The living room was beautifully decorated. The beach was nice and close so perfect for a swim at the end of the day. The old town was within easy walking distance and yet we felt away from the hoards. Yes, we did hear the nightclub but none of us found it a problem. We loved our stay and would definitely want to stay in the apartment again.

Apartment "Cypress"

The apartment is wonderful. On a scale of 1- 10, its a 12. The location is perfect, just steps to the beach, to old town, ,bakeries, markets, and many great restaurants. But if you should choose to do the cooking, the kitchen was eveything you could possibly need. There were many great things about the apartment, it was very clean and comfortable, the views, ,original works of arts by local artists. But the best thing is the covered patio, we spent many happy hours just watching the boats going by. So relaxing. If you are thinging of going to Dubrovnik this is the place to stay. Marija and Hasse, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.
