Blue bridge

Great view of Blue Bridge and inlet. - 24 hour entertainment. Accommodation smaller than expected, and no cable tv (missed Academy Awards!). Close to restaurants and walkable to downtown. May be warm in summer with all windows, but fine in spring. No laundry soap / insufficient cutlery - all else as listed.

AMAZING !With floor to ceiling windows the unit overlooks the Johnson St Bridge , great for people-watching and checking out the goings on in the harbor , otters and seals and the seaplanes: condo well appointed . comfortable and safe : located near numerous restaurants , pubs and shopping : excellent bus service for those without a car: property managers very responsive to requests : thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would do again

Magical Harbour Front View

If you’re looking a stay in the busy area of Victoria this is the place in walking distance to restaurants, pubs and the harbour front. Beautifully appointed and clean condominium with panoramic views from the living room and master bedroom areas. Bonus with 2 bedrooms and also 2 bathrooms, one as an en-suite in master. If you’re looking for a quiet stay this is not the place as traffic and people noise is continuous 24/7 as this property is located on the 1 floor of the complex in the downtown area. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

Great location - but several issues

While the location made it easy to walk everywhere, the property fell short of expectations in several ways. There was one section of the blinds where the shade could not be raised - sadly it was the window with the best views. We asked for maintenance to fix it, but they didn’t. This property is next to the bridge, which is very well lit at night - the blinds do not block any of the light so it’s like trying to sleep in daylight, and the noise is substantial. There was a room air conditioner but we had to call management as we could not get it to work - they did finally come but it was a frustrating conversation as they kept telling me there was no air conditioner. Cleanliness was pretty good - although areas of the shower had mold/mildew, and the flooring throughout was a little dirty. Owners should leave a welcome packet with operating instructions for appliances, favorite restaurants, where to get some groceries, etc. , and a full length mirror would have been appreciated.
