Beautiful cabin overlooking the river. The host was fantastic and allowed us to stay additional nights due to a snow storm that made the roads unsafe for travel. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back for some more fishing in the summer!
The host texted us the day of arrival to let us know we could check in early if we wanted. The cabin was perfect! From the location to the amenities, we couldn't ask for a better place to spend our family vacation!
We loved our stay at the river reserve! The cabin and listening to the river was so peaceful. We attempted fly fishing for the first time. We didn’t catch anything, but saw 3 otters which was not something we expected! We took advantage of the fire pit and had a fire each night of our stay. Overall, we loved it there and look forward to coming back in the summer.
The place is beautiful. Noted that the entrance is very uncomfortable. Also, the place was still dirty when we arrived. The upstairs bathroom the sink was clogged. The host was very responsive to my messages and advised that they would return my cleaning fee. Other than that the house is in a beautiful location. The location makes the house worth it. Hopefully their cleaning service do a better job for the next family to come.
Really enjoyed our stay. The owner was great to work with. The only thing that could have made the stay better would have been easier access to river. Overall it was a great place to stay.
I can’t say enough good things about this cabin. From check in to check out was wonderful. Great fishing and wildlife viewing. Will definitely stay again!
We fished, swam, enjoyed the porches and the more secluded accommodations. Kids had a blast even though someone lost their AirPods in the river. Haha. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Perfect getaway with the family. Secluded away from neighbors. Swimming area was nice and deep. Fishing from balcony was a first! Everything is as described. Highly recommend.
Very beautiful place right on the river!! The host was very communitive if you needee anything! The stairs in the cabin are very steep so be careful! Also theres no turn around for a driveway, its pull straight in and back straight out! The cabin was clean! We did have some type of light glitches, not sure what was going on. They would come on whenever they wanted and flicker. The cabin did have a wet dog smell when we first got there, but we opened the doors and windows and aired it out! We were able to hike a little around the river, and really enjoyed that! Overall we really enjoyed our stay there and would love to go back maybe in the summer time to enjoy the river more!!
We had a wonderful stay here from start to finish! The host was very responsive and helpful and the location on the water was beautiful. We would gladly stay at the property again in the future.
his cabin was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was so relaxing to hear the river flowing every day, fall asleep to the chorus of insects at night, and we even spotted a flying squirrel on the balcony! One morning, we watched a bald eagle glide down the river—absolutely magical.I was a little bummed there weren’t any welcome treats like a bottle of wine or some snacks, but honestly, that didn’t take away from how wonderful this place was.
Had a wonderful time here. Yes, there are LOTS of stairs which we were aware of before booking. That kept our heart rates up while we relaxed on the river so at least got exercise in! We were able to have an adventure while relaxing at same time, without leaving the property. Property manager and housekeeping were extremely prompt to address any concerns. Loved our stay.
Cabin is secluded and on a beautiful portion of the river, which we loved. It had everything we needed. Gorgeous views from all rooms. Lots of stairs but worth it to get the amazing views it has. We loved it and will certainly book again.
We have stayed at VRBO's all over the world & this was the best overall! The location was amazing, the 3 story log home was clean, well furnished & 100% accurate to the photos. We had such an awesome time that no one wanted to go to Dollywood, they just wanted to stay in the river. When we left, my 10 year old granddaughter cried because she wanted to stay longer - that says it all!
Beautiful roomy three-level house overlooking the Little Pigeon River. Very peaceful and quiet, can barely see any other houses (and none at the same elevation). Driveway is a little tricky, as is the river access. Great place to fish once you get down there. Only small ones when we were there (but it'll vary). Saw a bear across the river one morning. Bring bug spray.Owners are very nice and easy to communicate with. Feels far away from town, but is only a 20-25 minute drive. Would definitely stay again.
The cabin was very clean, it looked exactly the way it was described. Its out of the way, quiet and the veiw from every part of the cabin was picturesque! Our hostess was very sweet and promptly responded to any messages we sent. Overall we had a great time here and would book again for our next vacation!
One of the best rentals we have stayed at! Love the quiet location.

About the host

We found this lovely cabin and have turned it into a beloved river oasis. We are proud to share it with you and know you will love it and feel at home! This is our second listing on VRBO and we know we will have all 5 star reviews with this property just like our other property!
Why they chose this property
River Reserve is a secluded and amazing river front cabin. We are still close to the best attractions though, so you get the best of both worlds!
What makes this property unique
Very few properties in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area are riverfront. But it is extermely rare to have 300' of river frontage with access.
