This is a special place! So awesome! Not far from town or things to do but why? It’s so beautiful and secluded. Lots of birds to watch! Super clean! Everything you need to stay without leaving! We will come back! Thanks for creating this oasis!

Pictures don't do this justice. Absolutely heaven on earth! I could sit on the deck and stare into the canyon for days at a time and it would never get old. The house has everything you need and every view out is stunning.Cant wait to return.

The cabin and property is even more amazing and beautiful than the pictures show! The best part of our entire trip was just sitting in the hot tub enjoying the canyon! Lori is a wonderful host. We are already recommending the cabin to friends and family!

Red Canyon...amazing. This property sits directly on the rim!! It's so well appropriated! It IS very remote. Plan beautiful meals al fresco...the patio/outdoor kitchen is so much better than anywhere you'll eat in the Hills. The views are breathtaking and wild life incredible.

WOW, this home is absolutely amazing. The beautiful gardens greet you in the parking area and guide you to this gorgeous cabin. Upon walking in you are met by a well appointed, beautifully decorated home with floor to ceiling windows and views that take your breath away. We stayed for 7 nights so prepared a lot of meals and the kitchen has everything you need. This host has thought of everything when it comes to what you might need. We loved the deck seating on both sides of the house, the deck off the second bedroom had the magnificent sunrises and the deck off the main living space held those beautiful sunset views. The Canyon is gorgeous. If you’re thinking about a stay here, you won’t be disappointed — book now !!! Communication before, during and at checkout with host was exceptional. Thank you Julie and Jerry for staying with us and for such a nice review! I am an obsessed flower gardner, so I appreciate your comments on my garden beds. :) Of course they pale in comparison to the canyon. The cabin sits on the edge of a promentory, with views to the east, south and west. Even though you are sitting up with the birds on a cliff edge, you don't feel exposed. The feeling is that you are in a protected sanctuary because the cabin side of the canyon sits lower than the opposite rim. Also, there are no cabins close and the views are protected from further development. Lori

Thank you for your review. I also grew up in the Black Hills and did not know this huge canyon existed! In the 1990's we purchased the land from a rancher. Very few humans have ever seen this canyon. We are so blessed to be the steward of this beautiful spot with such amazing views. Lori
