Thank you so much! We’re so happy you enjoyed the everything and love that you appreciated the outdoor shower too 😊 We’d be happy to host you again anytime you’re back in El Zonte!
We love our stay with At Tia Tita. Chico and Ilda make us feel at home. The space is luxurious and spacious. We have a lot of room and space to enjoy the sun and the beach. The whole area was clean and well-fed. There were a lot of amenities that helped us cook ourselves or clean the clothes we wanted. The pool is clean. The patio is excellent. To be honest, it's one of the best places I've rented in many years. I recommend.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re so happy you felt at home and enjoyed your time at Casa Tia Tita. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I hope you also had an amazing scuba trip. You’re welcome back anytime!
I loved everything about this place. When you walk in you feel like you are entering a Spanish paradise. The pool is refreshing and not too hot or cold, the beach is right there and is something we watched the sunrise and sunset every day. El zonte is a great little town with a lot of activities. Next door there is a great outdoor bar to pick up drinks or a cocktail. Chico and Hilda are amazing hosts and make you feel very taken care of. The food she cooks is incredible. My wife and I got the massages, they arranged for them to set up on the Gazebo and it was excellent. The entire experience was incredible and I hope to come back. We have 3 young children, and they all had an amazing time.
Our stay was (still is) great! The house is on the beach, garden and pool real joy, staff Hilda and Chico worth a gold, owner (s) helpful and very responsive. Planning already ‘26 stay here!
This was our first time in El Salvador and it was a wonderful experience! Chico was a great host on the property making sure our experience was great. And his wife Hilda did a fantastic job introducing us to some delicious El Salvadorian meals! We loved it and will be back again!
We loved staying at Casa Tia Tita so much in 2021 we went back again in 2022. It is such a wonderful place to stay and Anna, Chico and Hilda make it such a great and memorable experience. The accommodations, the food, the culture, the friendship - it’s all great and we will definitely be back again!
8 men all enjoyed our stay, the place is awesome, great location, and the on site staff was great including the driver and the cook. The food was actually top notch, we had breakfast and dinner every day at the house and the food was better than the nearby restaurants. Highly reccomend.
Truly an incredible place to stay!! The location is amazing - right on the ocean with some great waves and beach! The house is beautiful and well put together. Chico and his family are incredible and made us feel so welcomed! The food is amazing!!! Ana was also great to deal with. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for staying with us! We’re really glad you enjoyed the location, the house, and your time with Chico and his family. You’re always welcome back at Casa Tía Tita!
Casa Tia Tita’s location and grounds are fabulous. The bedrooms are cozy. Not much of a kitchen but the staff can cook for you. We found everyone to be extremely accommodating and the location couldn’t be beat. We leave ok forward to a future stay hopefully soon. Thank you Anna!
The house was very enjoyable, and the pool was clean and well maintained. The highlight of our stay was the easy beach access right through the backyard doors—it couldn’t have been more convenient.Carolina, and I believe his name was Mike, were both very kind and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to note: if you’d like the staff to cook, be sure to arrange it in advance. I didn’t do this ahead of time, so the cook wasn’t available. That said, there are plenty of restaurants within walking and driving distance, so finding meals was easy. The beach itself was great, especially for kids, and there are vendors nearby as well. Just be mindful of some rocks near the shoreline. As expected, the showers have only cold water, and there’s no cable—but we didn’t mind at all since we spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful beach views, wildlife, birds, and even geckos. There’s also an outdoor shower with strong water pressure, which was perfect for rinsing off sand after the beach.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great experience!
What a great place to relax and unwind. The owners have made this a little slice of paradise. Our family with kid's ages ranging from 4-18 all loved it. The beach was a few steps out the back gate and the property was well maintained and clean. The owners were very flexible and great to work with. I highly recommend!!

You Can't Do Better Than This!
If you are considering a beach stay in El Salvador, do it. and this is the place to choose. Casa Tia Tita is wonderful! The beach location is beautiful! The staff is extremely helpful and hard working, the grounds are clean and well kept, the house is spotless, and the cooking is outstanding! My wife tried out most every hammock on the property, and we so enjoyed watching the beach activity from the upper floor of the gazebo. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. We are already planning our return trip. Thank you Godon and Ana for opening your house to us.

We received your reservation for next year and you're in. We look forward to your return visit.
Overall, the whole family had an amazing stay at Casa Tia Tita. Chico and Caro, the ones who maintain the property, were always very attentive. The house had plenty of room and the set up seems to be perfect. The different tables and areas were perfect for our family to be together in the mornings and the evening gatherings. The restaurant nearby offers more than plenty of variety and does taste great and seafood fresh.
The one down fall, if you’re a morning person, is the restaurants and coffee shops don’t open till 8/9am. So I’d suggest, pack some coffee to enjoy while hearing the waves crash on shore, because it is one beautiful view. Thank you Anna, Chico, and Caro for having us and making us feel welcomed.

A new place to getaway from it all.
A week ago today my husband and I experienced El Zonte beach for the first time while staying at Casa Tia Tita. Not only was the beach beautiful with its black lava rocks and black sparkling sand but the sound of the waves crashing in the background as we were laying in bed was a perfect lullaby to put anyone to sleep. Although it was rainy season it only rained at night and the days were perfect for sun and surf. Casa Tia Tita is so inviting as soon as you drive in the lush gardens and outdoor living space was perfect for laying around with a good book. The house is laid out simply for a group of more than 2, but the outdoors is where you want to be hanging out. At the pool side or the double deck palapa with hammocks galore, perfect ocean view in your backyard. Will be back for a longer stay next time.

Wonderful Vacation
Our second time at Tia Tita and still can't believe that it was even better than the first! Gordon's continuous improvements are noticeable and appreciated. The staff keeps the area extremely clean and tidy and even though we speak very little Spanish, we always seem to communicate. The food is wonderful! We came with a spreadsheet of meal requests by day and in Spanish (cut and paste off letter sent by Gordon) and Rosi was very happy and made her shopping list off of it. Do go on a shopping trip with the cook. The fish pier and the open air market are great experiences! The amenities, pool, ocean, beach, safe location, and available activities make for one of the most relaxing vacations you can have. Thank you Gordon and Ana! We will be back again.

I want to thank you for such kind words; especially about the staff. Ana and I came in on the day you left and the first thing we heard from them was how nice your family was and how they hated to see you leave. We all look forward to your return.
We had a great time at this house, the staff (Hilda and Chico) were very humble and caring. There are a few things I would like to point out because they are important to me. There's no hot water, there's only AC in the rooms, and they will turn if up if you leave the house.
The house gets really hot in the common areas, so the relief of the AC in the rooms is very much needed. Also, there are no ensuites, both bathrooms are in the hallway where there's no AC. One of the bedrooms bed (the coldest bedroom) was very hard. Also, previous reviews mentioned a cook, but we didn't have one. However, Hilda cooked for us a few times during the stay, which was very nice of her.
Overall it was a great stay and the location was beautiful. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would, I just wouldn't bring my mother, who is an elderly person.
The experience at this house was amazing, even from before we arrived. Anna communicated with me clearly and timely ahead of time to ensure I understood the options of the stay (airport pickup, groceries, meals by Hilda, massages, etc).
From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were greeted by Chico for transport to the house. Once we arrived, we met Hilda (his wife) and Daniel (his son) who live onsite and are there to ensure your stay is the very best possible. And...they DID NOT disappoint! They were so sweet and accommodating. After a run to the grocery, Hilda cooked every meal during our stay. They also cleaned every day and we had so much fun with 4 year old Daniel. Chico also took meticulous notes of the extras we needed during the week (mostly beer) so we could settle up with him before we left. The pool, the hammocks, the views, the beach, the food - all of it was truly a one of a kind experience. There is also a little local bar a few properties down which was fun to visit. This is a place you go to relax and disconnect (even though the wifi works perfectly)! On the last night, Chico took us to the local papusa lady and they were delicious! This stay was better than many of the "all inclusives" we have stayed at in the past. Hope to come back soon - thank you to Anna, Chico, Hilda, and Daniel!!!
This property met our expectations and more. You cannot beat the location. The grounds were kept beautifully and the house was extremely clean. The grounds keeper and guard, Chico and his family were very helpful and always friendly. We cannot wait for our next trip to El Salvador and to stay at Tia Titas again!
We had an amazing time at Casa Tia Tita. The staff is truly phenomenal. Chico and Hilda and their son, Daniel, live on site and are available to help with any and everything. Chico is an excellent resource and guide on recommending and escorting you on excursions to volcanoes and waterfalls.
Erica and Carolina are the best cooks! We enjoyed 3 amazing meals each day, and were honestly disappointed the few times we ate out because the food at the house was so much better.
The location and grounds are fantastic. Morning coffee in the gazebo watching the surfers is the best way to start a day, pool is perfect temperature and clean, lots of space to play frisbee and soccer. The beach right out front is perfect for playing, surfing, and jumping waves. Zonte is a friendly, safe town.
Some people may care that beds are a little hard and there is no hot water, but end of the day showers were still very warm because the sun had heated the water all day. House is clean and well maintained. These things were insignificant to me, as the staff and grounds more than make up for anything else.

Why they chose this property
The ocean front community of El Zonte / Surf City is located 45 minutes west of El Salvador's Comalapa International Airport (SAL), convenient to shopping in the Port Town La Libertad / Surf City, and this part of the coast line is scattered with local restaurants and activities. Nestled between mountains on three sides and the Pacific Ocean in front, it remains a secluded getaway for beach goers as well as a hot spot for local and international surf communities. CASA TIA TITA sits in the center of this active seclusion and is designed to offer the best El Salvador has to offer with all the comforts of home.
What makes this property unique
While staying at CASA TIA TITA we will be providing daily housekeeping as well as a cook to prepare and serve your meals. The kitchen is yours and available for your use at any time but we felt that you would have better things to do. I've found that a swim in the ocean, a dip in the pool and a good lunch will put me in the perfect mood for a siesta in the hammock. There are plenty of them hanging around. A walk on the beach will offer great food, entertainment, and if you're younger than I am, surfing. Lessons, and board rentals are available at multiple locations so there's no need to bring your boards with you.
