Away from main beach towns but the beach is much better and cleaner, no crowds. Place is clean and quiet right in front of the ocean. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

My stay at Resort Don Julian was excellent. Interior and exterior was well kept up and extremely modern. The onsite staff lady was extremely helpful and polite. Next to the beach and they have good security. I highly recommend this resort

Best vacation!

I’m so excited to leave this review. The place was spacious and literally amazing. The beach was right out side the room. Alex was such an amazing host he answer as of questions, I’m a worrier and he put my worries at ease. I was so happy with the location. The people were so welcoming and keep the property spotless. The property was easy to find and there are restaurants near by. I canceled my plans one day of the vacation just to be on the property and enjoy the resort. The pictures do no justice. I will forever brag about this place.

Family vacation

We spent 11 days at the Villa. We used it as a base camp to for daily excursions. It was well located. Town was a five minute drive to the big grocery store. If you're looking for American luxuries, this is a place to come. Beach was a great beach.

Overall great experience. Friendly staff, great views, very modern interior, Netflix and WiFi available in all rooms and living room. Pool could be bigger, but who wants to use the pool when you have your own private jacuzzi. Will make note that the jacuzzi is just for show as the ports don’t have jets but just bubbles.

Hidden gem that wont stay hidden

Location is amazing. Place was modern and new. Staff was friendly. Few minor issues but place is still new. Lots of ants, jacuzzi doesn't get hot, 1 of the upstairs ac doesn't get as cold. Other than that highly recommend staying here.

Let me start by saying that the place is taken care by a very helpful family. From the moment we arrived they were very helpful, the property is well kept on a daily basis very clean. Now to the heavenly view and sound of the frontal beach. Best view just pure serenity. First time in many years and can’t wait to go back. The condo has everything you need.

What a gem!

Beautifully furnished condo, with an amazing view of the beach. The beach was lovely with mocha sand and clear water. Easy to walk to several restaurants and bodegas. Easy access to CA-4 to San Salvador and easy to get to the airport. Friendly staff and neighbors. We felt safe and secure in the resort as well as everywhere we went. Brush up on your Spanish and stay alert while driving. Many fun adventures to be had. Best Christmas ever!

First trip to El Salvador

We have traveled to many parts of Central America, and this was one of our favorite trips. High points for us: the beach front location of the unit, ease of interaction with friendly staff who remain on property, the ability to park our vehicle within the gated property, on-site pool, ease of access to the airport. We enjoyed day trips up north to the colonial town of Suchitoto, and to the nearby beach villages of El Tunco and El Zonte (Bitcoin Beach, where I was able to transact in BTC). We roamed the beach and found a restaurant/bar within a few hundred meters: Punta del Este hotel which has a large overlook patio. There are likely more, but the signage can be lacking.The Super Selecto food markets are maybe 10-15 minutes away if you want to stock up. We spent 90 and had plenty of breakfast and dinner items for most of a week. The closest Selectos are in La Libertad, but can be packed and challenging with traffic/parking. There is one a few more minutes north in Zaragoza and a bit more up the coast line in Surf City, where you might find better options. Also, local vendors will travel the dirt streets of the area in trucks selling vegetables and pallets of eggs for low prices. There are little tiendas in this neighborhood that have some vegetables, soda, beer.We felt very safe throughout our trip and travels. Keep in mind that the surrounds are not highly developed regarding infrastructure, but we found this authentic local environment to be perfect for us.
