The property is beautiful. We really enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness. The house was well equipped and was decorated in a unique and fun way. The property owners are very accessible and communication was quick and efficient. We had a relaxing weekend and would come again!
The property is definitely out of the way and quiet. Just what we were looking for. The sounds of the fountain were very peaceful and Aimee was very responsive.
The property is really beautiful. The small pond with bond fire is just perfect together. Everything was really clean and ready to use when we arrived. The host was really friendly and helpful. I was able to connect to the host constantly if I had any concerns or questions. Overall, this is a really good experience. I recommend it to anyone who looking for a short getaway.
We rented this property because our friend was having their wedding in Plantersville. The property was only 20 minutes away from the venue and it was a perfect spot! The place was spacious and had plenty of room! We loved everything about it! They had a canoe and a kayak along with fishing poles. The patio was spacious and partially covered. We had a wonderful time and we definitely want to visit again very soon!

Waisted my money
I waisted my money on this cabin. I stayed one night and left next morning. The house was dirty. Showers bathroom filthy with grime around corners of tub like it has not been cleaned in awhile just rinsed. The house needs to be exterminated really bad. Upstairs had spiders huge roaches and other critters we had to kill before we went to sleep. Same for downstairs. The huge windows facing lake are so dirty and full of spiders and spider eggs. You cant wear the life vest to go on boat because infested with spider eggs and critters because they hung outside. I get its in the woods and there would be some critters but lawd Jesus nothing like this. We were so uncomfortable to sleep. The beds make a loud crunchy sound when you move and the window ac is so loud. You can not sit on deck furniture without putting something on them. They are full of spiders and eggs. They need to powerwash everything. Ive never had issues at any VRBO that ive stayed at. The pics on the website are when it was first built. Everthing is old and dusty now. And the POOL!! I wanted to swim so bad. It was so disgusting and so dirty with ALOT not a little ALOT OF ALGAE. There is a sign that says be quiet because someone lives in a trailer next to pool. The pool is NOT PRIVATE!! You can barley get upstairs on the extremely narrow culry stairs. You can not take suitcase upstairs. Not worth what they ask each night they need to lower the price. They want and ask for 5 stars but im going to be honest.
This is such a great little hidden gem. It is very remote which offers a nice quiet way to relax. Granted there are other cabins along the water that you can see and hear but overall it’s still very peaceful. Check in process was super easy. The outside deck is very relaxing to sit and enjoy the sound of the water fountain. The drive is down a bunch of country roads so don’t be expect quick access to many things. This shouldn’t discourage you from renting this wonderful place. This isn’t a 5 star resort so if you keep that in mind, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.
Found this little gem looking for a place to stay near the Renaissance Fair. The house was cozy and offered all the amenities we needed.
The owners were easy to reach and available for anything we may have needed.
We enjoyed the stay and loved the Renfair. Definitely saving for future trips!
Very cute cottage Texas vibes. The beds were comfy. The location is beautiful and so is the entire place. One thing I will stress is the spiral staircase is VERY narrow and hard to get up if you don't have great balance. Otherwise the space was fantastic for us and the outdoor seating area was picture perfect.
This property is beautiful, clean and peaceful. This is the perfect place to get away and relax. Aimee was also super helpful and made the check in process very easy.
It’s even more gorgeous in person and it’s the perfect balance of feels like home and secret oasis escape. Excellent experience overall we will be revisiting. It was exactly what we needed.
