Great place to stay with a relaxing front porch for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening.
My only negative is the front gate needs some work.

So glad you enjoyed your stay at our historic home in Clarkdale. The home is over 100 years old which we lovingly restored a few years ago. The fence and gate are also original making the gate a little challenging. So glad you enjoyed the sweet front porch! Safe travels!
About the host
Hosted by Janet Regner
We live in and love Clarkdale and the Verde Valley of Arizona. We are 50+ year residents of Arizona and could not be prouder of our beautiful State! Home of (and only 2 hours from) the Grand Canyon!!
We have been hosts for over 3 years and own several long term rentals in the area. We are fastidious in our commitment to a super clean and safe home for our guests to stay in while they explore beautiful northern Arizona.
We are excited to host you and we wish to ensure that you have a truly memorable and fun vacation. As you enjoy our bungalow, we want you to have a quality experience. Please read and be familiar with our house manual prior to your visit as it will assist each of us in achieving a 5 star stay.
Why they chose this property
this is the historic neighborhood of Clarkdale. Built in Pre-War 1917 by the United Verde Copper Company (the mining company founded by William A. Clark in 1912). Originally a 4-room brick home with a back porch and Oregon pine floors. It also had a glass sleeping porch. There were 13 of these homes built between 1915 and 1917. Historic photos from around the time the house was built decorate the home.
We chose this property as it exemplifies the unique history of Clarkdale in a quiet, historically maintained neighborhood. You will feel as if you have gone back in time while also enjoying all modern conveniences which we installed in the remodel.
Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and our History!
What makes this property unique
When we discovered this special property, we realized it was the perfect location for travelers and we wanted to share with others the opportunity to stay here. Our place is located in the heart of Historic Clarkdale, with a spectacular view overlooking the Sycamore Canyon. Close to Clarkdale Town Park with its historic gazebo where concerts are held in the summertime; hometown brewery, great restaurants, unique patissiere, bookstore, museum, hiking, biking, river sports - you name it, we got it!
