Ground-level and water-front-- a rarity for Dauphin Island-- means your entire vacation can be stairs-free, with breathtaking views of the sun setting over the water. This five bedroom house can accommodate up to twelve people. Upon entering the home, you walk into the open-concept living area with cozy fireplace, flatscreen tv, and views of the organic-shaped full-sized in-ground pool just steps from Buchanan Bay. Indoor dining accommodates 8, with 6 stools at the bar, and 6 top dining table on the pool patio. The kitchen is equipped with double oven, extra-large island with 6 burner gas stovetop and 2nd sink, granite countertops, and new knives and cutlery. Primary Bedroom has King bed and the ensuite bath has elegant garden tub, stand shower, and lavatory sink, with additional adjoined lavatory room. 2nd bedroom has King and adjoining shower-tub combo. Third bedroom has two Queen beds and shower-tub combo. Fourth and fifth bedrooms have Queen bed and two single bunk beds respectively. Spend your day lounging on the chaise chairs on the pool deck or boating and floating in the bay. The best part is you'll have an outdoor bar nearby with Komodo grill and later install granite countertops. Boat slip available for renter use. No more than 12 people allowed on property at any given time without owner permission and event fee. Primary renter must be over age 25 and must be present during the entire stay. We had a wonderful experience. There was plenty of room for 11 of us for a week without being cramped. The only negative was the bunk beds squeaked very badly. Other than that it was great!

House should be nice once the remodel is finished
Assumed window coverings for bedrooms and bathrooms would be standard. But the bedframe and boards on front porch at least covered the majority of the downstairs bedroom. Towelrods would be a plus for a house with a pool. The on-line information leaves out items and adds non-existent items. Best to call management companies. But make sure you note their office hours. No emergencies, but did not return general calls.

Blinds are on order and scheduled to be installed before the next reservation, and we will look into adding more places for towels to hang. From what I can tell from our follow up emails, the only other issues to address are to change the listing to reflect that this house has 4 bathrooms instead of 1, since you stated that we were able to provide a blender to you immediately upon opening our office after the holiday weekend.
