West Ocean Towers! The condo is sunny, bright and beautifully designed with relaxation in mind. Facing West and North, the mid-day sun allows for lazy afternoons. West Ocean Towers is unquestionably, the best residential building in Long Beach. The oversized balcony has a large table with 6 chairs making it perfect for alfresco dining. Located in the Best Residential High Rise Tower in Downtown Long Beach. Located on the second floor.
The entire property is impeccably clean and a huge amount of time has been spent ensuring that your every need is met, so you can relax in your perfect home away from home.
The kitchen is fully equipped and contains everything you need to cater for yourselves including: all stainless-steel gas kitchen includes, dishwasher, gas stove w/5 burners, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer and ice-maker, microwave, a stackable washer dryer plus both air conditioning , forced air heating and under-counter lights.
All small appliances including: waffle iron, blender, hand mixer, mix-master, toaster, crock pot, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder all pots and pans, cups and glasses, flatware and stemware, plates, bowls, cutting boards...everything needed and supplied!
This property would also suit anyone visiting the city on business that requires an ideal and convenient location close to the business district.
All pots and pans, custom pantry, small and large appliances are included. Custom 'Top down-bottom up' window coverings ensure for maximum shade inside and the blackout shades in both the bedrooms allowing for sleep anytime. A ceiling fan in the master bedroom offers a cooling breeze for those warm evenings. Two additional fans are in the condo.
There is electric heat and air conditioning in the condo.
The living room is tastefully decorated and stylish. It features a custom sofa, comfortable lounging chairs, mid-century furnishing and a large glass coffee table with custom paint colors and lighting complete the living room. The living room can comfortably sit 6. The dining area has a large teak table with teak chairs and can accommodate dining for 6. The living room also has a 40' flat screen SMART HGTV with Spectrum Cable including HBO, Showtime and 50+ channels and radio. Plus, plenty of books and games to keep everyone entertained. Maps, guides, menus and tourist information are provided.
The master bedroom consists of a beautiful and very comfortable King bed, ceiling fan, alarm clock and ample storage An en-suite bath with granite counters, dual vanities, plenty of storage, a hair dryer and a large mirror to help you get ready for that night on the town or business event. All linens are provided. The second bath has a tub/shower combination with granite surround plus a large mirror. Both baths have all lights are on dimmers and have electric fans. Bedrooms have operable windows along with the living room for fresh air.
The second bedroom consists of a Queen size bed providing comfortable sleeping. All linens are provided. Both bedrooms are carpeted with large windows looking to the sunny balcony.
Custom black-out shades are in both bedrooms. Both bedrooms have operable windows for great air flow. Both bedrooms have closets with custom closet organizers with plenty of hangers. Ample drawer space in the master bedroom. Second bath across the hall.
The sunny oversized and private balcony has a table and seating for 6 for alfresco dining or cocktails.
The building is offers the best of amenities including an outdoor heated pool, hot tub and dry sauna. There are many meeting rooms and quiet common area spaces including two well equipped gyms and BBQ's. The building offers a guest suite that can be rented for extra guests. Two secure and deeded parking spaces are also included. The garage is gated and operated with an opener. Superior construction includes double dry wall for minimum noise transfer.
The building has state-of-the-art security system. Two lobbies are manned 24/7 and all visitors and guests must register and be announced. Outside doors are locked and one can only gain entrance by using a ' FOB' to unlock.
The unit is close to the best of everything Long Beach has to offer! The Long Beach Convention Center, the Pike Marketplace, Rainbow Harbor, the Long Beach Aquarium, the Catalina Express and the East Village Arts District are all within walking distance. The trendy Pine Street corridor is just three blocks away. Many restaurants, shopping, cinemas and theaters are all within close proximity. The building is conveniently located at the end of the 710 freeway so getting to places in and around Southern California including Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Pasadena, the Long Beach Airport, Orange County, all beaches and the South Bay are very easy. The terminus of the METRO Blue Line is also three blocks away making commuting to downtown Los Angeles or Union Station very easy. This is the perfect location to start or end your stay in Southern California.
Many Long Beach activities are centered around the city's waterfront marina and downtown. Within an 8 block area, there are more than 100 restaurants, plus shopping and entertainment venues. The condo has a walk score of 92!!
There are two bicycles in a secured and locked room, along with helmets and tire air compressor. Long Beach has many bike paths, one of which runs 5.5 miles along the sandy beach shoreline located 5 blocks from the building. The city of Long Beach also offers the opportunity to visit the stately Queen Mary. At one time the Queen was the world's fastest and most luxurious ocean liner. Today, she still adds color and a retro cachet to Long Beach Harbor, and entertains passengers in restaurants and on historical tours.

This is a lovely condo in a wonderful 2 building complexThe 2nd floor condo had everything you might need (coffee, pool towels, spices, cookware, etc etc). Both the owner ( Tom) and his local property manager ( Monika) were very responsive and very easy to work with.The complex has two well equiped gyms, a hot tub,meeting rooms and a wonderful front desk staff.
The condo is beautiful and comfortable. Everything I needed was there. It was so easy to cook. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning sipping my coffee (they give you 3 ways to make it). The amenities and concierge are amazing. I love a heated pool and big sauna and Jacuzzi. Two gyms also. John was so helpful and responded to all my questions very quickly. He made it so nice and easy to stay at a VERY nice home for us. I can't wait to stay there again.
My family of four stayed at the condo for one month. The unit is very comfortable and clean. The building has nice amenities. And the location is super-convenient.

This was an excellent property. The condo was clean and well-stocked, and the West Ocean Towers property was clean and safe, very well maintained. The gyms and pool area were excellent, there were bicycles available, and the staff of the property were pleasant and accommodating. It was a quick walk to the beach, marina, shopping and restaurants, and even walkable to parts of downtown Long Beach. Tom was always a pleasure to deal with and readily available as was Monika who greeted us in arrival. There were two parking spaces available which is an amazing perk in a beach town. Already booked the place for next year. Can't say enough good things about the overall experience.
This condo is a great location for all the events, parties, festivals, boating, premiers and local beaches that Long Beach offers all year. It is close to shopping, restaurants and a comfortable movie theater with all the current movies. We had everything needed from lots of kitchen dishes to an abundant of furniture and all the little things needed to enjoy your stay. The condo building has very good security and an amazing pool.
We are a retired couple and have been spending winters in warm climates. We were lucky to pick Tom's condo unit. We loved staying at Tom's place. The building is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We used the pool (88 degrees), hot tub, and the gym almost daily. The outdoor barbeque was super, it was cleaned every morning. The gym is as well equipped as any commercial gyms I've seen.
Tom's unit is more then well equipped. The TV had all the channels with nearly all premium channels available along with access to Netflix and Amazon. The beds were very comfortable. The only negatives would be the couch is uncomfortable to us.
Tom is very responsive to any requsts or problems. We would definatly stay here again if we return to Long Beach.

Owner communication, support and follow-up all excellent. Rental was clean and well supplied.Management company was responsive when needed.Ocean towers staff was professional and knowledgeable.Facilities including the pool and gym were immaculate.

Tom offered no solutions outside of sending out the couch cleaning crew who offered to steam clean the couch again and lose the couch for 2+ days. Tom simply acting as of the problem didn’t exist. I covered the couch in blankets the entire trip The Floors & Chairs were COVERED in dog hair. It was obvious that the place wasn’t cleaned between our stay and the previous guests. I told Tom about Nothing there for dogs. Bring own bowl exc. Every cabinet and drawer is full of Tom’s personal belongings. He had the the kitchen cabinets full of old magazines, dirty candlestick holders, oversized vases, decorative ‘stuff’ and lots of other stuff that I had to move so the home was useable for my 45 day stay. Tom describes a desk to work from with empty drawers. But it’s full of his stuff.WiFi was AWFUL(1.9 MB/s). Was unable to work from condo.His pantry was filthy! Everything was expired and covered in cooking grease. Once again, in order to fill the pantry with my things, I had to CLEAR & CLEAN out things from previous guestsEverything in kitchen is worn out, rusty and UNORGANIZED. I had to throw away 1+ Trash bags of pantry items (open cereal boxes) bathroom items (open milk of magnesia) It was obvious that the place wasn’t cleaned much at all between our visit and the previous guests. One couldn’t miss a half opened box of CHEERIOS. There was dried spill of a liquid on the entire wall and tv when we arrived. We cleaned the TV. Another example that the place isn’t properly cleaned. Ceiling Fan had a MONTH’s of dust. I never turned it on because of this. The Baseboards/under furniture were full of the same LONG GREY DOG HAIR. I was HIGHY ALLERGIC to the master bed room due to amount dander in the carpet from a lack of proper cleaning. Lights in kitchen out were laughable. 3/10 of the bulbs were completely out. 2/10 of the bulbs were so dim that they were ineffective after dark. The vent above front door is thick in dust. I I could go on and on about the disgusting aspects of this house! The pictures in bedroom fell off wall multiple times. Unsafe picture frames. Almost landing on my pet.He listed the Master BedRoom curtains as ‘blackout’. Yet, we found a note on the curtains saying ‘DO NOT USE - DECORATIVE ONLY’ Bike seat is lose/broken! No maintenance between guests. Relies on the Condo’s manager to run his rentals and, while she’

I am sorry this was not the right fit for this guest. In the 12 years that I have been vacation renting this condo, never have I come across anyone like this guest.
IF the guest was so unhappy and if the place was as stated, why not reach out to me and let me know?
The guest mentions my texts as "small talk". That would have been the perfect opportunity to reach out to me or my property manager.
Instead of getting into the picky details of the complaints, let's keep in mind that the day the guest moved in everything was steam cleaned, as admitted. And, both the property manager and the steam cleaning professional made special trips to the condo to see for themselves what the complaints were. The result? Everything was perfectly clean.
This is a super popular rental and guests return year after year.
Again, I am sorry this did not work out for the guest.
Very pleasant 2 BR 2 BA condo in Downtown Long Beach. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and the freeway. Property owner Tom was really great and responsive. Condo building is well managed with good parking and a fitness center. My dog loved it as well. Highly recommended!

Ideal location. Walk out the apartment door and in a minute walking down the best section of Ocean Blvd. Go out the back door and in a couple minutes walking the pier along the Aquarium, restaurants, shops, then onto the beach: long and wide and safe. Bikes are ready to go and the paths go on forever. Hop in the car, and your a block from the 710 to get you anywhere fast. Be sure to drive the new billion dollar bridge over the port— no longer a confusing drive through industry and truck congestion— spectacular view and now minutes from the growing harbor area of San Pedro and the cliffs of Palos Verde.
The apartment itself was spacious and better stocked than our home. Comfortable living room with large TV, large kitchen with all the amenities, dishes, cutlery, etc etc.
Two parking spaces meant it was easy for our daughter to visit without any parking difficulties. Extremely safe with fob controlled gate access and only 6 condos per floor, plus fobs only permit access to your floor and common space, so no one else is even on your floor. Speaking of safety, the guards at the doors are super nice and make you feel at home.
The grounds are extremely clean, including the huge pool, bbq, and fireplace area. We complimented the gentleman wiping handles and washing floors: so nice and thorough, especially during COVID. Tom even stocked the apartment with a box of masks and bottles of hand sanitizer.
Thank you Tom for creating such a great place to stay, and Monicka for welcoming, orienting, and managing the apartment itself.
My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Being able to walk to downtown, the Pike and Shoreline Village is great. The condo is clean and nicely furnished and feels large for the square-footage. Having AC, two secure parking spots, WiFi, bicycles and laundry machines makes for an easy stay. The staff is fantastic, they accept online grocery deliveries in the lobby and are always there to answer your questions. The tower is surprisingly quiet, we never heard any of our neighbors. Tom spent over an hour with me at check-in going over the condo, parking and the building amenities. This is a great condo in a fantastic location!
Our 3rd visit to Tom’s apartment – just as nice and well equipped as before.
The location is perfect for all that Long Beach has to offer… looking forward to our next visit

Amazing Amenities
The condo provided everything we needed and more. The kitchen was so well equipped that I wanted for nothing when cooking elaborate Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Tom clearly takes pride in the condo; it is appealing, very clean and well cared for. The building amenities were amazing - beautiful pool area, hot tub, sauna, grills, outdoor fireplaces, and billiards. The condo is located in downtown Long Beach. The building is very secure. Tom was a helpful, responsive and patient host. Five stars.

I recently stayed at Tom’s West Ocean Towers condo on business. Everything was top notch.
I could walk to the office and the many restaurants & stores in the surrounding area.
