Beautifully designed quiet Belmont Heights apartment. Our apartment is walking distance to the restaurants and shops of either Belmont Shore and Retro-row. Thank you for supporting our local merchants. We named our apartment "Harry's Hideaway" in recognition of our past and present pet companions. It gives us great pleasure to provide properties that are of high standards to our guests and their companions. We hope you will have the opportunity to visit our Long Beach apartment or our Florida home. Our cozy pet friendly apartment will provide all the comforts of home.

Perfect spot for my wife and me to get away from the heat in the desert and spend 3-days at the Long Beach Grand Prix. Communication was excellent with the Host and we really enjoyed the location. We easily parked on the street and although we did no cooking, the kitchen looked very nice. My wife noted that it was really nice having coffee and other small amenities that our hosts left for we guests. Five Stars!
Everything about this property was outstanding. It was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor seating area was very comfortable when having friends over. We will definately be back looking to rent the same property.
Good place for a couple. Unit is ground floor of a 2-storey rear building. With buildings in front and to sides, not a lot of sunshine, but courtyards in front has more. Very clean. Eclectic array of decorations without feeling cluttered.
I love this place! My 3rd time staying here in 6 months and I’m impressed with the place once again! I’m looking forward to staying again. It’s cute, ultra clean, impeccably furnished, and the owners are attentive.
There is not enough room to say all the things I loved about this place. I can only say that it felt like I had never left my own house, I felt so at home.
Melissa and Steve are great hosts! The apartment me stayed in is super cute and cozy. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was close to the beach, and downtown entertainment. We will definitely try to stay here again when we are in Long Beach!
This is a lovely apartment! It was VERY clean and well appointed with comfortable furnishings and quality soaps/home products. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The location is quiet and neighborhood is very walkable. Parking was very accessible and hosts were helpful. We will want to stay here again!
Great location, close to everything, yet quiet and relaxing setting. This place was outfitted with anything and everything you would need during your stay.
Parking was street parking but generally ok. House was clean and comfortable. An insurance payment in excess of the standard rate was required. I would stay there again.

Thank you for the 5 star review. Many of my guests choose not to take the insurance option. This is not required and totally up to a guest. When any particular question comes up, I refer to the VRBO policies.
Loved this place....felt spacious, enjoyed the recliners, accoutrements in the kitchen and bathroom, along with multiple types of lighting. VERY clean and nicely decorated. When I am back in Long Beach, I would definitely stay here again!
Best place we’ve ever stayed! Beautiful patios & outdoor space, great location & neighborhood, clean apartment, & felt very comfortable and right at home. Super cozy & all the small things like fresh flowers & fabulous decor in every room was so appreciated! Would highly recommend!

The apartment was just as advertised. Well laid out and just the perfect size for the two of us. The only issue we had was the hot water faucet in bathroom sink wouldn’t close completely and there was a stream of water constantly running.

Thank you for your review. I apologize there was a slight leak from the faucet in the bathroom. This was resolved immediately after you left. You indicated you simply turned it off. This did not appear to be an issue when you advised us. We did not want to disturb your stay otherwise the plumber would have been there same day. Many home owners can encounter slight issues from time to time. Our five star reviews indicate the pride we take in our property. We hope you enjoyed the wine and fresh flowers.
Great space in a walkable neighborhood, close to shopping and restaurants. The hidden unit is fully stocked with items to make a cozy stay or explore the area. Lovely outdoor space to relax, easy parking and comfortable.

While Melissa and Steve are business owners on the way to retirement, Melissa relocated from Boston and met Steve a California native. Steve is a alum of CSULB with children and grandchildren in Seal Beach & Austin TX. Melissa's relatives are primarily east coasters. We love to travel and spend time in Long Beach and Safety Harbor, FL. (VRBO 102521). We call ourselves "sun birds" In addition, we have a great love of going on African safari. We love animals, both wild and domestic and have enjoyed hosting dogs and cats with their families in our homes on both coasts.
Why they chose this property
We purchased the home and apartments in Belmont Heights for it's craftsman style quaintness and quiet neighborhood. We continue to reside on-site and have great pride of ownership. Long beach also has great accessibility for travel to Los Angeles and Orange County. We have outdoor space for relaxation when you are not enjoying the many activities in southern California.
What makes this property unique
Include both front and back outdoor space. Included is outdoor dining area and gas barbecue. Being 3 blocks from the ocean the sea breese is very often present. The interior includes ship-lap & open beam ceiling. Our guests are also treated to a rain shower and Turkish towels.
Bicycles are also available for our long term guests.
