What a beautiful place to stay. A stunning, tastefully decorated home on a working vineyard. We had four small families stay in both Petit Mas and Mas Meyeau and everyone was extremely comfortable.
There was plenty of space for family dinners and games around the kitchen table, and lots of fun to be had outside with the pristine pool, a ping pong table and petanque.
Sabine made a delicious birthday lunch for us all to share. The food was fantastic.
The property is also a great base for exploring the Rhone/Provence region.
We stayed for a week and wish we could have been there longer. The perfect spot for a dreamy French getaway!

Dear Chiraag,
It has been so wonderful to host you all and thank you so much for such a wonderful review! Kind regards, Sabine
We have experienced Domaine L'Ameilleaud in Cairanne as heaven on earth. An oasis for a peaceful family gathering. Our family (8 adults and 6 children) stayed for week in July 2023 on Mas Meyeau and the annex Petit Mas. Both accommodations with tasteful and luxurious living- and sleeping/bath rooms (airco), a splendid kitchen and sculleries. A great deal of time we lived in the beautiful garden with nice shady spots under the platans, on the horizon with the view on the Mont Ventoux surrounded by the wonderful vineyards of the Cairanne. Completed with a large swimming pool for those who want to swim and those searching for cooling down with the little children as well. Our host Sabine and Nick provided the whole family with their dedicated care and charming hospitality with their enormous expertise on the vinification proces of Rhone/Cairanne winery and regional cooking specialities. To enjoy the natural world and the special flavours of the Vaucluse L' Ameilleaud is (especially) for families and friends the ideal restful spot to be in harmony with each other! Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie dort und alle haben sich wohl gefühlt. Der kleine Ort ist nahe bei und die Umgebung ist sehr gut geeignet zum Radfahren.

About the host
Hosted by Thompson Sabine
I was born French and raised in, Provence, South of France. With my English husband, Nick, we have been running this property for several years, first, to make wine. We both felt in love with this region, have always enjoyed countryside lifestyle. Nick's passion has always been wine making, blending and tasting. As a provencal native who loves good food I enjoy sharing tips for good chef to cook at home, restaurant or take away food.
Why they chose this property
The property is surrounded by vineyards. It is a family vineyard. We took it over in order to produce wine, which we did. Some of the buildings desperately needed some repairs. This is why we decided, first, to convert the old stables into an exquisite 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a spacious and luminous rental house. In 2022 we decided to add another accomodation, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, now added to the global offer
What makes this property unique
1) Situated in a worlwide reknown wine producing area, the Rhône Valley. 2) A beautiful house for an inspiring and charming getaway 3) Nestled in a magnificent setting, far from the crowds and, yet, close to everything 4) A protected, quality environment, conducive to the preservation of the eco-system and where it is possible to observe the presence of interesting fauna such as the screech owl, the hoopoe, the kestrel and many more
