We are John and Kathleen Whisler and we live in California USA.
John:
Until I met Kathleen I had never traveled outside of the United States and very few states within the US. Since then we have been to England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Greece and Mexico. With all our travels, we seemed to return to Mexico more than any other country. Three years ago we had the opportunity to obtain partial ownership with Vidanta Resorts, Mexico with locations in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Maya and now we would like to share our good fortune with others.
Kathleen:
When I graduated from college, my mother told me, “I knew when you were five years old that the world would be your back yard, and there was nothing I could do about it.” I still wonder, why would she want to “do something” about it?
I left my medium sized town in central California in 1982. I headed to University of the Pacific, where I earned degrees in International Studies and German. My program included a year of study abroad. During my semester break, I went on my first “real” travel adventure. I added stamps to my passport like crazy, and I was hooked.
Since then, I’ve travelled from Japan to Greece, from Alaska to Costa Rica....and so many places in between. I’ve stood on beaches in Normandy, gone swimming in the Caribbean, and sailed across the Straits of Gibraltar. Yet the place where I find myself again and again? Mexico. The warmth of the sun and the people, the softness of the sand and the tropical breezes...I cannot get enough. Let us show you our corner of paradise! It is so much closer than you think.
