2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Very poor and unsafe fittings:- Front door frame - rusty and door very difficult to unlock- 2 sunbeds for 4 persons - both corroded, torn and giving way- Outside shower - leaking, tiles to it are dirty- BBQ and sink - filthy- Outdoor table and chairs - very old and table cloth torn- Inside dining chairs - not balanced and unstable- Staining to paving - Cleaning - not good enough eg cobwebs in the bathroom, by the TV and on outside furniture - Bathroom mirror corroded. Shower leaks- Ants in bathroom, repeatedly returned - Toilet roll holder broken- Poor quality towels and insufficient in number - Socket by double bed - unusable /blocked, a real danger- Very dated bedding- Pillow case missing from one of the pillows - Main light switch in twin bedded room - worked only once during our stay, safety risk- No oven - Hob not fit for purpose in that it kept switching off then caused total electrical failure half way through holiday. No cooking facilities so wasted food and extra expense- Washer, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer - all old and worn, dishwasher racking - exposed and rusty - unhygienic and unsafe- Kettle - won’t always switch or stay on; a fourth safety risk- No curtains or drapes to any of the windows despite pole fixings in placeGiven the number of defects, we chexked out early but still the property managers have refused our compensation claim which we are pursuing.

Response from VrboOwner on 17 Jul 2026
We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. The property was prepared for the number of guests booked, including the appropriate amount of bed linen and towels. When additional towels were requested, the managers delivered them promptly. The issue with the hob was also attended to within an hour. Regarding the electrical interruption, no fault was found at the time, and you were asked to contact us immediately if it happened again so that further checks could be carried out. At that point, you appeared satisfied with the assistance provided. You also crossed paths with the property managers several times afterwards without reporting any further issues with the house. The remaining concerns were only reported after your departure. Had they been brought to our attention during the stay, we would have been able to inspect and address them promptly. With bests regards, Casa-Conil

Wunderschönes Haus in Conil

Perfekter Urlaub / Vacaciones maravillosas
