It’s been a pleasure hosting you, and we’re especially glad to be welcoming you back at another one of our cabins as well. We truly appreciate your continued trust and look forward to hosting you again!
The cabin was just what we wanted & very clean. We were extremely pleased with it & the host. Plus, it was relatively close to everything that we wanted to do - definitely a place that I’d rent again.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that the cabin was just what you were looking for and that you found everything clean and comfortable. It means a lot to know you enjoyed the location and had a great experience with us as your host. We’d absolutely love to welcome you back anytime—thanks again for choosing to stay with us!
The cabin was so cute! Just the right size for my husband and I. The recliner was a plus to put our feet up and the king bed was great. So many cabins we looked at only had doubles and queens which doesn't work for a tall ex football player. The kitchen was well stocked even though we didn't do any cooking. Highly recommend for your trip to the area.

Hello Annette! Thank you for the great review and thank you for being a great guest! We'd love to have you back anytime.
It was great ! The only issue we had was losing power for about 12 hrs .. it was during the night which ordinarily wouldn’t have been a big deal but my husband uses a CPAP and the smoke alarm beeped all night ! Of course it wasn’t the owners fault ! Overall it was a great getaway !

Hi Lisa,
I do apologize for the power outage that affected the entire neighborhood. I know how crucial a CPAP is for a persons quality of sleep and over all health. Other than that hiccup, I'm glad to hear you had a good stay. We would love to have you back anytime.
Property as advertised beautiful decor, hot tub worked great...an no traffic sounds. Secluded enough for privacy but close to town. Great for two people.
Place was nice and clean. Good communication. First place I’ve stayed that if location was empty they still had you wait to check in. Overall great little get away. Would stay here again

Hey Bill, thanks for the great review! I’m sorry if there was a misunderstanding about an early check-in because we always let people check in early if possible. I know we did have pest control coming the day of your check in and unfortunately they give us a window. I know we allowed you to check in at 3 PM, Once we knew the pest control would be done. I’m sorry if that wasn’t early enough for you.
Extremely easy to check in and out. Very clean with lots of amenities that we didn’t expect. Would definitely recommend this property to couples or families with one or two kids. The community is very quiet and is close to Bryson City and the NOC.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Poor Wi-Fi
The cabin was dusty, the Keurig had molded grounds of coffee in the bottom and hadn’t been properly cleaned. The Wi-Fi didn’t work the entire time. The TV’s are connected to Frontier Wi-Fi. We couldn’t watch the news, not to mention my Pacemaker was not monitored
When you step into Bear-Leigh Made It, you’ll understand the title! The Bear theme is abundant, even though we didn’t get to see any real bears over our three night stay. The cabin is in great shape, with all of the amenities my wife and I needed—wifi worked well most times, but sometime videos buffered. There is one cabin in eyesight below, but there is total privacy due to the terrain. The hot tub was a nice perk.
We had never been to Bryson City, but it was a short drive and was very charming. Lots to do there and of course the Mountains are everywhere along with the park just to the north.
Note that thecabin is towards the top of a very tight and steep road, so make sure you are prepared for that. I imagine it would be tough if there is any snow or ice. Also, if you have a low to the ground car, you might want to be careful. I doubt you need all-wheel drive most days, though.
