An atomic ranch-style home built in 1961, the Wolfe House is a Stephenville landmark. It's guest house has been fully renovated to include brand new, modern upscale amenities. Enjoy a great night's sleep on a brand new queen-size Casper bed. Includes a fully-equipped kitchen, coffee & tea bar, washer/dryer; marble-tiled bathroom with large walk-in shower and luxurious shower heads; Super-comfortable double reclining leather sofa; large TV with ROKU and work space; plus outdoor patio seating. No smoking and no pets inside the property. No exceptions. However much we love animals and other people’s pets we strive to provide a safe place for people who have allergies. If you have a service animal please note we require advance notice because we will need to close off an additional 24 hour period after check out to professionally clean all surfaces, drapes, etc. Thank you for the opportunity to hopefully be your host!

Great stay near Tarleton

I booked this property for a quick trip to visit Tarleton and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and very well appointed apartment which is walking distance to campus! I will absolutely stay here again!

CJ did not actually stay here, but booked for one of his workers. Our place is much more than adequate for a single guest or couple, and is better equipped than perhaps any listing in town. All other reviews on AirBnB and VRBO are ALL 5-star in every area, and all our guests who have actually stayed here have absolutely LOVED it. We were perplexed by CJ's terse review, as we take great pride in providing a place that far exceeds the expectations of the overwhelming majority of our guests.

Why they chose this property

The former mother-in-law suite now turned guest house has been completely renovated to be filled with light and give a place of peace and rest. Every detail has been thought through, at least you will see we definitely tried. We chose a highly rated Casper mattress, with soft bedding; two choices of window shades to choose from, soft filtered light to black out to get the sleep you need. Super comfortable adjustable leather sofa with convenient USB ports on each side, with black out curtains for glare free TV watching on the 55" screen with Roku to access all streaming networks. Yes, you will have popcorn to pop!
The wonderful shower head is so relaxing with on demand hot water.
The patio is a great place to enjoy the birds singing and watch the sunrise coming through the trees while you enjoy your cup of coffee or tea with all the various types of sweeteners and creamers we offer.
We are in the heart of Stephenville, three blocks from Tarleton State Univ.
We are in a family neighborhood near an elementary school, so sometimes when outdoors you may hear the children playing. The guest house is well insulated but we need to mention that train tracks also run through the city and for any light sleepers we offer a white noise machine, just in case.
We have a lot of song birds all year long in our backyard, in spring and summer we have three Mississippi Kites (hawks) that have a favorite perch nearby.
We have two very sweet outdoor cats that love people but will also give you your space. We hope when you stay in our guest house you can see and feel all the quality craftsmanship, effort and love that went into re-designing this space.
