Nestled on the stunning Mississippi River bluffs just 15 miles north of Prairie du Chien, this cozy cottage offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Whether you're looking to explore the great outdoors or unwind in comfort, "The Hygge Hideaway" has it all.

Start your mornings with coffee in the multi-level yard, where you’ll find quiet spots to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding bluffs. Just a 3-minute walk brings you to the Mississippi River, and you’re only a short drive from the Lynxville Dam and several convenient boat launches—perfect for fishing, boating, or simply soaking in the river’s beauty.

Inside, you’ll find a fully furnished retreat designed for comfort and fun. Enjoy:
Soft bedding and linens for a restful sleep.
A fully stocked kitchen for your culinary adventures.
High-speed internet for staying connected, streaming your favorite shows or planning your day.
Games, movies, and a vintage record player for cozy evenings in.

End your day by grilling dinner on the gas grill or enjoying a glass of wine around the firepit, nestled on the second level of the yard. (Please note the steps to the firepit area are steep and narrow. Please use caution.)

Hygge Hideaway is such a quaint little house. It was clean and functional. Like most houses in the area, it is built into a hill, so it has a decent view of the river.

Perfect first stop on our road trip!

This was such a cute little spot to stop over for our road trip! The record player was awesome and the view of the river is beautiful! We loved being able to bring along our senior dog, Penny! Would stay again.
