The perfect spot

This was the BEST location for our visit to Lancaster with our grandsons. I can't say enough about how perfect this was from the moment we arrived until the day we left. We will definitely use this location again when we return to the area. Thanks for showing our family a GREAT time. Our grandsons loved it.

Lancaster Cottage

Cute as a button and within a few miles of all main attractions in Lancaster, Pa. Hosts were so cordial, gave us privacy but were available if we had any problems. Will definitely be staying there again !

The Cozy cottage was in a nice location for Lancaster shopping, the hot tub made it nice for the girl's weekend.

Very nice place!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The pool was very nice, and the Barn/entertainment area was an added bonus, even though we didn't use it. The cottage was very quaint. Great place for a family to stay!

A Great Vacation Property

The Cottage and surrounding grounds were just as described in the listing. Great location, easy access to almost anywhere. Cottage is quaint & charming; has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Cottage was clean & pristine! Layout is perfect for smaller families or friends vacationing together. The saltwater pool, with pool toys/floats and towels, was absolutely perfect! It was too hot for the hot tub or sauna but they were inviting too. The host was readily available and accommodating. Looking forward to returning in the near future!

Jessica and Bill and their children were wonderful hosts and their property is beautiful. The cottage is darling. Very clean, beds comfy, lots of towels. Beautiful pool and yard. The pictures don’t do it Justice.

Perfect Place for R&R

There's something wonderful about this cottage that makes you feel like you've lived here your whole life--or wish you had. I had a very relaxing stay, which was exactly what I came for. I also really enjoyed watching the horses and buggies going by on the street.

Wonderful weekend

The cottage was perfect for three college friends weekend getaway. The property was set enough back off the road that it was still very private. House was clean and warm and well-appointed. We were glad for thoughtful extras like plenty of swim towels and additional throw blankets in the living room. We loved time in our evenings to enjoy the hot tub and sauna. It was too cold for the pool, but the property is lovely so I hope we can do our trip in warmer weather and enjoy the pool too. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Beautiful Property

We were visiting the area for a dance competition and opted for a VRBO instead of a hotel. We do not regret this decision at all. The property was beautiful and the owners were very accommodating. The cottage had everything we needed and it was a great location.

Quick Get away

My wife and I spend two nights in the cottage. The house was perfect for our time there. The host family was very helpful in showing us the lay out of everything and very welcoming. We had a pleasant experience and will be back the next time we come out to Lancaster.

Fairy tale cottage

I loved staying in this historic little dream cottage. Everything was cozy, adorable and comfortable. Attention to detail was evident. I loved the wonderful radiator heat and finding the vintage intercom . The windows are super cute.

Cozy comfortable guest house on a beautiful property with amazing amenities!

I’ve stayed in dozens of VRBO rentals over the years and this would be in the top 5. Everything was just what we were looking for. Cozy and comfortable and perfectly situated to explore Lancaster County. The property and landscaping felt like you were staying at a historic estate and the amenities were incredible. Huge natural looking saltwater pool and great hot tub. Though we didnt have time to take advantage of them there were also yard games, a ping pong table and a sauna as well as a great grill and bar area. Bill and Jessica were very friendly and helpful with giving local recommendations and their kids enjoyed playing with my dog. The house itself had very comfortable beds, a great washer and dryer, and a very comfy sectional couch, cable TV and wifi.

Great little house

I believe this was the cleanest place I have ever stayed at before. Wooden floors throughout you can walk barefoot and not even feel dust under your feet. The house had so much character, it was very comfortable to stay in. The only thing I didnt realize when booking the place was the location. By the pictures it looked like it was located on a back county road but its actually located on a pretty busy road with houses all around it. I will say the location was ideal for us even being located in a busy area because it was literally 6mins from Sight and Sound, 15 mins from Bird-in-Hand, so in the middle of Amish Country. I would recommend the place to anyone wanting a place in the middle of everything and thats super clean!

The cottage was perfect for us. It has a lot of character. The property has a lot to offer for two people or a family. Loved being away from downtown Lancaster. Jess and Bill are gracious hosts.

The host welcomed us as we arrived and was friendly and welcoming.This is an old cottage so it does have the 'old house' smell to it when you first walk in but not noticeable after a few minutes.I requested a muffin tin and the host had it in the kitchen for me upon our arrival. The grounds are beautiful with the main house (host), the cottage and another, detatched unit. The pool and bbq area are well landscaped.The only 'warning' is for people who are light sleepers - the road right in front of the houses is very busy all day long with semi's and construction trucks buzzing by at higher speeds than the posted speed of 35 mph.

Everything was very clean. We did not use the pool or hot tub because it was raining most of the time. The house is clean and comfortable. There is a bit of noise from the very busy road out front, so people sensitive to that might want to bring some earplugs. That said, the location is excellent - close to so many things. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to our hosts!
