About this property
Beautiful riverfront home surrounded by Amish farms in Lancaster
Discover Eagle's Branch River House, the perfect secluded riverfront perch to enjoy the sights and beauty of Lancaster farm country. Our three bedroom, two bath spacious home is ideally suited for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. It has a 'cabin' feel with modern amenities and is beautifully furnished. Three levels with master bedroom suite with its own private wraparound deck, modern kitchen, expansive rec room with river views, and multi-tier decks overlooking the river and surrounding Amish farms.
On a quiet gravel lane, you won't find a better place to unwind in the heart of Amish country! The Conestoga River is a designated water trail and popular for canoeing, kayaking, fishing and wildlife viewing. Our home provides convenient river access on a beautiful stretch of the Conestoga between the historic Bushong Mill and the famous Pinetown and Hunsecker's Mill Covered Bridges.
Most guests enjoy relaxing to the sound of the river rapids, but amenities include large-screen TVs, Wi-Fi and a Weber grill. Quiet and peaceful yet a quick 10 minutes to downtown Lancaster, farmers markets and all the sights and activities.
Also a short drive to many other attractions including Hersheypark, Dutch Wonderland, the historic Fulton Theatre, American Music Theatre, Sight & Sound, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Longwood Gardens, Strasburg Rail Road, historic Ephrata Cloister, Susquehanna River and much more.
For families: we have a pack-n-play with mattress included, high chair, books/toys and stroller available for guest use. Older kids (and adults) will love the foosball table and large screen TVs in the rec room!
Take advantage of our one-of-a-kind setting: we have two bikes for guests to explore Lancaster's winding farm roads and rolling hills, a private rustic trail through the woods along the river to one of Lancaster County's famous covered bridges, or you can walk from the house across the Amish farm path to see cows and horses. Evenings are great for enjoying complimentary s'mores or relaxing in the hammock by our riverside fire pit.
Have kayaks or canoes to bring along? There's a wonderful 90-minute paddle route that leaves from the house, passing two covered bridges, an eagle's nest and beautiful farms and homes.
Above all, this is a place to unwind, disconnect and recharge as you explore the sights of Lancaster County.

Lots to do in PA and this house had lots for families to enjoy and do. Very clean and comfortable, and lots of decks to enjoy watching the river float by. There are many steps in and around this lovely home.
Quiet and Peaceful with a beautiful view. The house is a true gem. The house was clean and fully stocked. There are three floors to this home and every floor was warm, welcoming and tastefully decorated .We had a wonderful stay and look forward to staying here again in the near future.
This is a beautiful house. We will be staying there again the next time we are in the Lancaster area. Everything needed is there and in great shape. You can't do better.
Wonderful welcoming hosts with a spectacular river front location. Upon our arrival, the house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Set amid Amish farms, accessed via a true covered bridge but just off a major highway, this is the perfect Lancaster vacation spot!
House is beautiful! It was even decorated for Christmas! Pictures do not do it justice. Host left local coffee and baked goods and a note welcoming us. Can’t wait to go back.
The property was well maintained, beautifully kept, very thoughtful put together. The caretaker took clear pride in setting up personalized touches, a beautifully handwritten sweet card with personalized message, chalk board welcome, extras provided (s'mores for fire pit, pastry gift, extra blankets, towels, pillows, etc). It was very evident that the place is cared for with much love and pride, and we were welcomed guests.
This house was everything we were looking for for a cozy, quiet place to stay for three nights and visit Lancaster. The home was spacious and comfortable, and we loved hanging out at the fire pit at night. The host left some extra special touches which really made our stay more memorable!
Great overall stay. House was clean and comfy. Only drawback was the river was too high to play in because of recent rain, but nothing to do about that. Highly recommend!
What a time we had!!Beautiful Home and Property!!Absolutely loved inside and outside!3 decks Loved being right next to the River!Such a beautiful view!!Fishing, tubing, relaxing, sightseeing..,Special memories with Family!!
My family and I stayed in Eagles Nest and loved it! Every aspect of this wonderful place was thought of and the house was perfect. We look forward to another get a way to Eagles Nest!
What a gem! We are so glad we found this property. The entire home was absolutely spotless. The hosts made us feel right at home, and added a few hostess treats that were really appreciated! The home is well stocked and there is lots of interesting decor to appreciate. We really enjoyed the new deck and the beautiful scenery. The window seat (with gorgeous river views) was a favorite hangout during our stay. We can’t wait to return to Eagles Branch again in the future!
Our family loved staying here! We would like to stay during warmer weather to really enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was frigid the weekend we visited. Although it was a cold weekend the cabin was so cozy and relaxing. All the amenities were just right and the owners were very kind. Highly recommend staying here.
Another great weekend at Eagle Branch. The hosts make it easy to enjoy the beautiful property and amenities. We will be back next year for our third stay.
Had a wonderful stay at a picturesque house in the middle of Amish country. Highly recommend this house for anyone stay in the area. House was very clean and provided all the amenities anyone could need. Very scenic as it sits adjacent to the river. Big bonus was the eagles that soared overhead!

My husband is from the area and we were looking for a weekend getaway spot to unwind and recharge. We've found the perfect place!
Why they chose this property
There aren't many homes on the river and you can feel yourself relax as soon as you turn onto the private gravel lane. The deck overlooking the rapids is our favorite place to spend a lazy morning. We love being in the heart of Lancaster County and surrounded by Amish farms.
