My husband and I have a great time! It’s wasPerfect for us. We spent our time boating and downtown walking through all the shops. Very clean and decorated perfectly. Can’t wait to spend another weekend this summer.
very quiet and private, great view of the night stars!!! Attention to detail in the design on the interior and exterior were impressive. would stay there again!
Lovely out back with the dock for sunrise and sunset views! Good outdoor space for grilling and hanging out at the firepit. Comfortable for our two night visit to Apalachicola for oysters and relaxation. We enjoyed looking at all the host’s eclectic collections and historical aspects.
Our stay at Oyster House was really nice! The place is so unique! It is quaint and cozy. And the fishing dock was wonderful! My husband really enjoyed fishing from the dock! We definitely plan on coming back!
We absolutely loved this place ! We spent every morning and every evening on the back deck enjoying all the natural beauty and tranquillity, that seems to want you to remember back when, even though you’ve never been here before. Had every thing we needed and then some. Host are top notch, clean home, comfortable bed-all we could want. Definitely we will be returning and soon !
** We drove the short distance to spend a day in town and drove to Indian Pass one day and we enjoy them both but the evenings was saved for watching for the dolphins and an old man in a rigidity boat to pull up with his daily catch of fresh oysters to this wonderful “Oyster House”!!
Location is perfect for a fishing trip with friends. The dock is protected by the island in front of it. So it’s perfect for mooring your boat in a protected area . Great location to catch your own bait. And a nice public boat ramp is just down the street . We plan on renting this property again in the near future
We have a tradition of watching the fireworks from our boat in Apalachicola. This was our first time staying here and it totally met our expectations. Photos and description matched the property very well. We traveled around by boat to Half-shell Dockside for lunch and enjoyed nearby sandbars/beaches to swim. Our kids enjoyed baiting the crab traps provided and couldn’t wait to see what they caught. We fished right from the dock and caught redfish, trout and catfish as well. My 5 year old mastered the skill of kayaking/paddle boarding and that was so cute to watch! The mornings were spent watching the boat parade of fishing boats head out at sunrise. The house was well stocked with everything needed to accommodate cooking/grilling at the house, which we mostly did rather than eating out to much. The ONLY con was no dishwasher but that wasn’t a huge deal. I’m not above handwashing but not really fun on vacation. We just made a quick trip to the store for disposable plates and such to cut down on that. Overall, great location, view and communication with the owners! We are already planning our next trip to the Oyster House! Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with my family♥️
Our stay was awesome. Great location and the house was equipped with everything we needed. Very nice pier and beds were comfy. Loved the old world Florida feel the property offered. Host was the best

Exactly what I expected from the pictures and had everything we needed. We watched dolphins swim pass the pier , beautiful birds , cranes, pelicans, sea birds land in the beautiful grasses. Fished and released a few fish as well as blue crabs. Old Florida feel
We wanted a unique place to get away and have adult sister time. It was peaceful and serene on the bay. We were out on the dock a lot. Rode the golf cart into town for a day. Watched the sunrise every morning...perfect for us.

One look and we turned towards each other and said no way. Camper in side yard window blinds broken window cloudy was not ready at check in We left Would not stay if free
It’s got everything you need including quirky fun decor, and it’s very comfortable. Near town, great docks for sunrise and sunset viewing. Recommended!
We stayed here for a week-long fishing trip over thanksgiving and had a great time. The house was clean, well provisioned and full of character just as it appears in the photos. The new dock worked well and there's a boat launch just down the street which was convenient. Communication was great with our hosts and check in/out was easy.
We really enjoyed the property. The place was right on the water and we loved waking up and seeing the sunrise and watching the sunset. We had everything we needed for a fire or to grill out if we wanted. We loved sitting in the swing cuddling, walking out on the dock and sitting on the back porch to eat.
We would definitely book it again on a nonevent weekend or week.
The only draw back was it was to far out of town for the Seafood Festival. We had a hard time finding a place to park when we went to town. But that’s not the owners fault.
The new dock was very nice, but it needs water and a light. The wiring in the house needs upgraded.
We had a very nice time and caught some fish and crabs off the dock.
One of the owners friends came over and I am not sure that was appropriate.
