The Oyster House is just what it is! Really enjoyed my stay here. It is just as described, and super clean! The kitchen has everything you need to cook your catch from the dock. Loved catching speckled trout in the afternoons when the tide came in. Very short drive to town for anything you might need. The owners are very hospitable and fun to to be around! Plan to come back soon!

Thank you so much. We glad you enjoyed it and hope you return.
The rental was really cute and tastefully decorated. We were provided everything needed for our stay, kitchen well stocked as well as bathroom. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.
Absolutely love the oyster house! Crab galore! Ran traps off the dock. The view was of back of the island and an awesome view of the big water and a cute palm off the tip of the bay. St. George lit the islands shore. Very private and convenient to many things. Not to far to go enjoy downtown in the golf cart. Will be back.

I loved every minute I spent here. The property was exactly as described. It’s a really special and unique experience to stay in this oyster house on the bay. Convenient to shopping and food. Amazing wildlife in the backyard. I saw dolphins, a bald eagle, a great blue heron. We caught blue crab off the dock and ate well. What a stay! I highly recommend. The bay delivered us a Statler Brothers tape one morning, right up to the shore. I left it amongst some other treasures from the sea. Pic attached.
This is my and my grandfathers second time staying here for our fishing trip. I love this property and would highly recommend it. Also Amanda is great and easy to work with!

Lovely out back with the dock for sunrise and sunset views! Good outdoor space for grilling and hanging out at the firepit. Comfortable for our two night visit to Apalachicola for oysters and relaxation. We enjoyed looking at all the host’s eclectic collections and historical aspects.
