Cozy Lakeside House w/Loft - Sleeps 6 - Close to Burnside, Somerset & Lee's Ford

Enjoy a peaceful, relaxing stay at our cozy cottage located on a quiet dead end street next to Lake Cumberland with seasonal views. Attached to the front of the Cottage is a large wooden deck the width of the house, with two levels. You will enter the front door from the deck and walk into an open concept layout, living/dining/kitchen areas all in one large room with beautiful hardwood floors and high ceiling. You will see a white spiral staircase that leads up to the loft area, with two twin beds. There are also two bedrooms with queen size beds, with a Roku Smart TV in each room. Two full size bathrooms, one includes a jetted tub for relaxing muscles from a long day sking/tubing on the Lake. The living room area has a 55" 4K Roku Smart TV.

The cottage is only 2.5 miles from Burnside Marina, where you can rent ski boats, pontoons or jet skis. The Burnside Island State Park is only 3.5 miles from the cottage where you can launch your boat or play golf on one of the best public golf courses in Kentucky. Lee's Ford Marina is 9.5 miles away and Conley Bottom Marina is 15 miles.

Our location is very convenient, only 6 miles from Kroger's and 6.5 miles to Wal-Mart Super Center along with dozens of restaurants and shopping opportunities. The SomerSplash Water Park is only 10.6 miles from the cottage. For an evening of fun go to the Somerset Falls Family Miniature Golf Park only 4.5 miles away.

For hiking enthusiasts there are many hiking trails in the area, one of the favorites is Yahoo Falls only 26 miles away. Cumberland Falls Park is a 28 mile scenic drive from the cottage. Daniel Boone National Forest and the Big South Fork Recreation Area are only a little over an hour drive away.

This house was perfect for our family! It was close to restaurants, the marina, and we could see the lake from the deck. It was quiet in the neighborhood. Our kids loved the loft and there were many games provided that they enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was lovely, the stairs were too small for adults but would be great for kids! There was a small problem with getting the lock box open but host was very quick to correct situation. The other thing is the ad says lake side and you can't even see the lake from the house! Again lovely house and very comfortable! we would stay here again

Great stay!

We had 7 people stay at the No Wake Cottage and we were all very impressed with our stay. First, the decor is very well done. The living area and the bathrooms were ample and comfortable for our group. We had enough room for everyone to sleep, even with the 7th person, as extra sheets were provided, as well to sit and enjoy a game or watch tv. The cottage is well equipped, from bath towels, kitchen towels and kitchenware. The deck is great and there are a couple of points between the trees across the street to see the lake itself. The location could not have been better to access the Burnside launching ramp. The hostess was great and responded quickly to any questions we had. I am sure I have left something out. We will most definitely consider staying again at this property and recommending it to family.

Our family has been coming to Lake Cumberland for decades. We love the Pulaski County area and the people.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in 2019 so a new generation of our family could make their own wonderful memories on Lake Cumberland. We fixed the Cottage up to be relaxing, easy to take care of and keep clean. The location is a nice quiet area with friendly neighbors.

What makes this property unique

The convenient location of this Cottage is one of the main attractions that drew our attention. The Cottage is only a 5 minute drive to Burnside Marina if you are interested in boating. Plus, it is only a short drive to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, miniature golf, and a retro treat of the Rt 27 Drive-In Theatre. If you don't feel like cooking after a long day on the Lake, there are plenty of restaurants that deliver to this address.
