Chuck and Lynne were great hosts, we were meant when we pulled up to the cottage with smiles and a loaf of yummy banana bread. The island is beautiful and Maine is amazing. The cottage is like stepping back in time, very clean and meant all of our needs.

That you enjoyed visiting a lot of the things on your vacation itinerary and had a comfortable stay is what we like to hear.
The cottage was a great place for us to stay for 6 days in July. The knotty pine of the living room and the enclosed porch with views of Ash Cove were great places to relax.

We are glad that our cottage was available and enabled you to get together with family without the confines of a hotel room. The conversation we had on the deck was very enjoyable as it is nice to hear more about our short term neighbors.

The cottage was the perfect home away from home. Chuck and Lynne were warm and inviting, greeting us with homemade banana bread. Beautiful space. Kind hosts. Wonderful experience.
R&R abundant here! This is a small beautiful community, nature puts on adisplay and fully flaunts the beauty of Maine. If you want a serene rural setting, stay here!

Nature in itself can be relaxing .We are glad to be able to share a comfortable spot to enjoy it.
We loved it. It was just what we needed. The apple bread they brought over was amazing. The cottage itself was cute and cozy. It's right next to the ocean so you can hear the gulls as the sun rises. It was perfect.

we are happy that you got to do the things you wanted to as that is what a vacation is all about.
Sorry we didn't see you before you left but know you had a lot of miles ahead.
We loved staying at this comfy and cozy cottage in Harpswell. Harpswell is a cute little town that is situated not too far from some great Maine destinations. I will miss sitting on the porch watching the tide roll in and out.

This is the 2nd time we have taken advantage of staying in this unique rustic Ash Cove Cottage. Once again, Chuck and Lynne did not disappoint. They were welcoming and made us feel right at home. The cottage was spotless and provided a perfect space during our stay in Harpswell. Thanks Chuck and Lynne :)

It was good to see you again and glad you had a good time with friends while in Harpswell.
Chuck & Lynn were wonderful hosts, with a perfect 2 bd cottage on a relaxing pond/bay in harpswell. They made sure stay was smooth and even greeted with banana bread. The town of their cottage is quaint and beautiful with hiking and lobster shack galore, however a 20-25 min drive from lots of stores / interstate.
Would recommend this property to everyone!

It is a good place to sit back enjoy the cooler air and slow down, but it is toward the end of the peninsula so shopping is not our first priority.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
Chuck and Lynne’s cottage may be plain, but it is quiet and clean and allowed us to enjoy all that Harpswell has to offer. After a day of exploring and good food, we enjoyed sitting on the small deck overlooking the water watching the birds and the tides. Chuck and Lynne greeted us with muffins when we arrived, showed us around, but otherwise respected our privacy. Great hosts!

Chuck & Lynne were very welcoming. The cottage was clean & comfortable. It was a great place of respite with a pretty view of the bay. The homemade zucchini bread was delicious & indicative of the thoughtfulness of the owners! All of our needs were met-- and then some!

We are pleased we could accommodate you for your stay at the cottage. The peacefulness of our area has always been something we've enjoyed.
This quaint cabin may be stuck in the 70's but it sure is wonderful. Beautiful view, quiet and peaceful. You will not find nicer hosts. Lynne and Chuck are true Mainers, warm and welcoming.

The property has a lovely setting on Ash Cove with nice water views and sunsets across the water. The cottage was exactly what we wanted, somewhat rustic, but very comfortable.Check in was fine with complete details about the cottage, functioning of the lights, fans, appliances, etc. The kitchen was supplied with an array of cooking utensils, plates, bowels, serving dishes all very serviceable, that complemented our needs for cooking in the cottage or preparing lunches for outings. There was really nothing that we needed that wasn't available.
My BFF and I stayed here for a girl’s trip. Check in is SO incredibly easy. They meet you at the door! We had a welcome homemade apple bread (which was delicious). Cabin is very clean. The water pressure is fantastic and water gets hot quickly. There is no water access from the cabin, but the views are beautiful. No AC, but wasn’t needed while we were there. It was like staying at a family member’s house. Very relaxing.

We like to greet you and offer a few suggestions to make the cottage feel like home in the short time you are here, so the communication with actual arrival time was greatly appreciated. Keeping it simple but comfortable is what we try to do. Lynne and I are glad you enjoyed your stay in Maine do come again.
This is a true Maine cottage, it is perfect for a couple looking to find peace, quiet and calm! This is a
place to disconnect from a noisy world, drift your thoughts over the water and lose yourself in the nature around you! The host is wonderful, will answer any questions. The banana bread was wonderful! Harpswell is one of Maine's most beautiful areas with a ton of hiking trails and the most breathtaking views!

The cottage is rustic yet comfortable; if you're looking for luxury and polish, consider elsewhere, but if comfort and simplicity is your priority, this is the place. The owners are nearby, welcoming, and available, without being the least bit imposing. The interior is large enough to have some space but small enough to be cozy; the kitchen is full enough to cook a complete meal; and the sun porch with a view is priceless. You can hear a pin drop at all hours and the neighborhood rightly expects it be kept that way.
We loved our stay at Chuck and Lynne’s cottage on Ash Cove. They were so welcoming and accommodating — our travel plans changed about five times; first due to airplane issues and then due to hurricane Lee. Anyways, we loved the cottage. It’s a genuine Maine cottage by the coast. The FM dial on the old stereo was a welcome throwback in this digital age (although this cottage has very fast internet!), and the enclosed porch with comfy couch is just where you want to read a book or watch the tide come in.
We brought our two year old son, and the cottage was perfect for him and Chuck even child proofed the whole place. On top of it the neighbors put together their swing set for our boy because that’s the kind of neighborhood it is. There is no direct water access is the only thing I would note.
Go stay with them. You won’t regret it!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay even if a bit shorter than anticipated. Your family's interaction was a joy for us to see.
We like to keep some things simple, but with the internet, connected to the world. We cannot grant access to the shore as it does not belong to us.
Again thank you for choosing our cottage.
