Immaculate Bellport Village Cottageā€”Central But Quiet, With Saltwater Pool

Feel like you're hidden away at our Bellport Village cottage. We're surrounded by nature but also a quick walk to the cute shops and restaurants in the Village. Newly renovated, our home maintains a rustic feel but offers every modern convenience: central A/C, strong wifi, smart TV, multi-zone Sonos, cook's kitchen, outdoor shower ā€” and a heated, gunite, saltwater pool in the backyard.

We also have a Level 2 EV charger.

ABOUT THE HOUSE:

The main part of our cottage dates to the latter half of the 19th century, with a cabin-style addition built in the middle of the 20th century. It was all gut-renovated in 2022. Hidden down a long drive, we're surrounded by natureā€”we see frequent bunnies and the occasional deer in our yard. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The open kitchen/dining room is great for a group meal, the living room has a smart TV and a working fireplace, and the screened porch is perfect for morning coffee or late dessert overlooking the pool.

NOTE: Bellport Village has strict regulations about access to the private Ho-Hum Beach on Fire Island, but we will work with you to make sure you have beach access.

ABOUT BELLPORT:

Noted by The New York Times for its ā€œease and informalityā€ (and, the Times said, filled with ā€œoccupationally glamorous and literate peopleā€), Bellport is an ideal waterfront village, a slice of New England on the South Shore of Long Island. Known as an unpretentious antidote to the Hamptons, itā€™s filled with friendly people on bikes visiting local shops and restaurants.

Our place is just a quick walk or ride from the pretty Bellport Dock, great restaurants like The Bellport, La Plage Bistro, and Porterā€™s on the Lane, and all the cute shops in the Village. The CVS, post office, and a Chase branch are all walkable/bikeable, too. Also, the LIRR station in Bellport (and even more frequent trains in nearby Patchogue) provides easy access to/from New York City and JFK Airport, and also an easy and traffic-free way to get out to the Hamptons and Montauk.

Amazing place!

We had a few wonderful weeks staying at Jesse and Will's beautiful home in Bellport. Starting with the lovely wine, coffee and local peaches when we arrived to swimming in the divine pool and cooking in the well stocked kitchen - the house was exactly as described and even better than the pictures on VRBO! Phenomenal hosts, a gorgeous property and convenience to everything made our stay perfect.

Weekend Stay in Bellport!

There is only 1 word to describe this Bellport property, SPECTACULAR!! We were visiting Bellport for a friends wedding and staying here provided so much relaxation and comfort. From the minute we booked everything about this stay was exceptional. The property is immaculate! The decor is modern and so comforting. And the pool after our dinner nights out and the wedding was the best. Jesse and Will have done an incredible job with this property. Can't wait for our next visit!

We had lovely stay at this immaculate home. We were a family of four visiting family in the area. The home was so clean and bright and beautiful. The heated pool and outdoor shower made our days and nights so much fun. Walking distance to Bellport town and a quick hop to fire island via the ferry. Canā€™t say enough. End of summer in Bellport

My husband and I, and our now six year old twins have spent the last few weeks in Bellport over the last five summers. Overwhelmingly this was our favorite rental. Aside from the house being beautiful and perfectly appointed, it was immaculate. The yard was fantastic and we especially loved the heated pool. The screened porch overlooking the back yard and the pool was perfect, especially for my husband who loves fresh air, but not bugs :-) The owners were very easy to communicate with and overall provided a wonderful stay.

Amazing Stay

My family and I have stayed at many very nice VRBO properties over the years and this property was our favorite. We did not feel like we were staying at a rental property but rather staying at a friend's home. Beginning with the personal welcome note and gifts, to the fresh towels, and modern appliances - everything was perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked with high quality appliances, dishes, and cookware. The bedrooms were comfortable and stylish. Everything is new and well-designed. I just kept saying - "I love this house." It's a definite MUST when visiting Bellport.

Charming, Hamptons style home, perfect for girls getaway

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at this home in Bellport! The house had everything we needed for our stay. Jesse and Will did a great job renovating this cottage and was in perfect condition. They greeted us a with a sweet note and even left some wine and ice cream for us! While my friends and I were originally looking to stay in Westhampton, this home was conveniently located nearby and the main street of Bellport was just a quick walk away with everything we were looking for (cafes, shops, restaurants, and even a CVS)! I'm hoping to come back and take advantage of the pool (since weather wasn't in our favor this time). Beautiful, private home- highly recommend!

Wonderful family getaway

My family and I had the best time staying at this home for a week and a half. Jesse was so responsive both before I booked answering any questions and during our stay as questions came up. The house truly felt like a home (versus some other rentals we have done) and it was clear they have put a lot of care into renovating and decorating the house. Itā€™s in a private location tucked behind another house off a main road so you felt like you were really in another world. However it was very close to town. We walked to the town and the beach and playground every day, which was amazing with a toddler and a baby. The pool is gorgeous - we stayed in September so the weather was warm enough the first week for us to use it since it was heated. The kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen at a rental before too. And, the side porch was an amazing bonus - we spent so much time out there enjoying the weather and view of the yard and pool. We also worked remotely while at the house and can confirm the internet was great. Thereā€™s no separate office space but I loved getting to sit on the porch to work in the mornings. It was our first visit to Bellport but wonā€™t be our last and we look forward to returning!
