Quaint spot in the country! Pet friendly was much appreciated and guess what...zero To-Do list when leaving! That was a first and appreciate that "one less" thing to do before exiting. Perfect for a couple to get out of the city. Wishing I booked in cooler weather:) I bet when leaves are changing it would be spectacular. Had a young Buck come up to the fence by the front door and many deer in the area. Thanks for a delightful stay!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful part of Texas

Looking for a getaway where I could see stars, hear birds and take my granddaughter “glamping” yet still be close enough to activities during the day and this little cabin in the woods was it. Excellent host with perfect communication and answers to inquiries, large bed and comfortable reclining couch. Full-size stove and refrigerator for breakfast or dinner options. Well stocked kitchen amenities (pans, splatter screens, mixing bowls, etc). This cozy little cabin had it all.

Nice, clean room and pet-friendly. A/C window unit is a little loud if you’re not use to having a fan or something blowing at night. It was fine for us, just wanted to mention. Equipped with everything you need from coffee to baking! Cute setup in the cabin.

Cabin in the Country

We've stayed here a few times while visiting TAMU. We enjoy staying out in the country as opposed to town. Very relaxing and clean, cozy cabin. Easy drive to College Station. One of our favorite places to stay in for TAMU football games.

My wife has family in Caldwell, so when we come for a visit, this has become our 1st choice of where we will stay.

The owners have always been very accommodating to our needs. The sunsets at the fire pit are to die for, and the farm animals give the place a real homey vibe! All that said, we know where we will stay next time we visit Caldwell.

Perfect getaway

The Farm on a Hill was a great place to stay for a weekend of shopping at Round Top and Warrenton. It was about an hour drive, but the cabin was very cozy and worth the drive. If you’re looking for a remote getaway, this is it!

The property is beautiful! It’s a bit of a bumpy ride to get there, but the views are amazing! We only stayed one night and were in and out quite a bit and had no issues. It was quiet, the cabin was impeccable, and had everything we could possibly need! You can tell it is well maintained and cared for.

Cozy Cabin with a View

It was a peaceful, and relaxing stay. Beautiful sunsets. It was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Lots of different wildlife. I would recommend The Farm on the Hill to anyone interested in a nice country getaway.
