We understand how concerns with comfort, cooling, and odors can impact a vacation experience. While the air conditioning system is designed to maintain a temperature approximately 20 degrees below the outdoor temperature, which can make reaching 70°F challenging during the peak of a Florida summer, we certainly want our guests to be comfortable. Had we been notified during your stay of the musty odor or any concerns with the HVAC system, our maintenance team would have been happy to inspect the unit and address any issues. We appreciate your comments regarding the furnishings and overall condition of the condo as well. Guest feedback is important to us, and we will share your observations with the homeowner as we continue to make improvements to the property. To clarify, guests who book directly through Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort typically receive certain complimentary amenities like free bicycle rentals, which unfortunately do not extend to bookings made through third-party property management companies such as ours. We understand this can be confusing and we always recommend guests review the specific amenities included based on their booking source. Regarding the beach crowd and chair availability, we know this can impact your experience. These policies are managed by the resort, and we’ll be sure to pass your valuable feedback along.
