Bigger than expected, very centric near downtown and easy access to Hendricks North Hospital, ACU and HSU and McMurry, also 10 minutes away from the Expo Center, Zoo and even the airport, perfect for multiple couples, families, friends or even if you come to Abilene to work. Newly remodeled with new living room furniture, table and a bigger TV (with most of the streaming channels available)
The space
The house on Merchant is in a historic Original Town West of Abilene, the neighborhood has plenty of history as one of the first neighborhoods here in town. Its just a couple of blocks away from downtown. About 5 minutes from Hendricks Hospital and very close to all 3 Universities ACU, Hardin Simmons and McMurry, as well as the TexasTech School of Pharmacy.

The whole house is accesible for your convenience, we just ask you to keep it clean and to take care of it so we all can enjoy it.

We are very excited to start this new journey, we have put a lot of effort to make it a pleasant experience for our guests and we have put a lot of hours making this house something nice to come back after a long day.

Most nice stay

The front door was a problem. Unless it’s dead bolted it won’t shut. The meant no one could walk in and out of the house freely without someone behind them locking and unlocking them in and out. We didn’t want to leave the door open because the AC was on trying to keep the house cool. The master bedroom didn’t cool properly so it was uncomfortable to sleep in. If you are a light sleeper bring a sound machine, because you can hear every little noise and also hear the train all night long. Other than that, the house is in a great location in a beautiful neighborhood and had everything we needed. It’s an older house, but nice enough for the price.

Great Stay

We were in town for the long weekend. Perfect for our family of six “all adults.” Beautiful place. Enjoyed it very much. Very spacious and exactly as described. We had no issues. Would definitely stay again.

House on Merchant

Property was easy to get too, clean and quaint nice house. Only issue: The doors need work, some interior doors do not close all the way, nor will they lock properly,' Front and rear door in need of repair/work.
