Take a step back in time as you stay in this restored 1920s service station which was once a stopping point for the infamous Bonnie and Clyde. With exposed brick, reclaimed wood walls, original tin ceilings, and a penny floor, this place is one of a kind! Nestled in the heart of the “sweetest town in Texas” spend your morning drinking coffee on the patio or eating breakfast at our repurposed Coca Cola cooler table and waking up to the sound of birds singing.

We had a great time here and really enjoyed the space. It was clean and ready for us and a great trip back in time, with lots of nostalgia on the walls. The putt putt in the back was a nice add and great for a couple or a family, it gave us something to do besides watch tv while there. We did some fishing at Bois D'Arc and there was power outside for the boat which was one of the many reasons we chose this place. The communication from the host was excellent, and that is always helpful to a great stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Such a special place, our only regret was not being able to spend more time there! Kayla and her family have obviously put so much love into this place and it shows. Communication was awesome and the place is even better than we expected. The bed was really comfortable, and we had everything we needed and more. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Awesome place!!

Fun unique property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if traveling through Honey Grove. No close restaurants so bring your dinner with you!!

Great atmosphere & location!

Loved the old-timey gas station theme & all of the artifacts around the property. Mini golf out back was a fun addition! Location was awesome -- right in the middle of town with easy access to everything. 10/10, would definitely do again!

The Station is awesome. Kayla and her family lovingly restored a piece of history in Honey Grove. What was a forgotten and left behind early days gas station has new life in the quaint, comfortable, and well appointed lodging - there is everything you need, and more. And it doesn't stop there - your own private backyard, complete with mini golf. It was great to relax, play a round or just sit outside and read.

Great Place for Fishing Bois D’Arc

Property was great and the manager was super helpful. Covered outside area was the reason we stayed to keep the boat out of the rain. Power for the boat and the putt putt course was fun

What a great place!

We LOVED this rental, the attention to detail was impressive (and I’m picky). The restored gas station was charming, well-appointed, and comfortable. And… we had so much fun on the little golf course. The host was accommodating and responsive, and it was a great price. Two thumbs up, fantastic stay.

Great Place - Great service

The location was as described. The history of the building can be felt inside. The decor was great and being that I only stayed there for a nights sleep, it was neat walking around and checking out the creative touches. Would highly recommend and the communication was spot on.

Weekend Fossil Hunt

The stay was amazing. Property was in perfect condition on arrival. Cooked some burgers on the grill, and steaks, worked great. Used this as our base for fossil hunting on the river. Even found a messasaur vertebrae!! We would definitely love to return.

Unique place

Old gas station and a back yard of fun! Step back in time in this unique detailed place full of family history. Welcome to the brick streets of small town USA. Everything was clean. It exceeded our expectations as we passed through the area.

Overall a great place to stay. Miniature golf in the backyard was a plus. A minus was the placement of the master bed. The person sleeping on the wall side was forced to exit bed over the other person in bed. Only improvement that needs to be made.
