Surrounded by beautiful oak trees, our Oak Retreat Guest House is the perfect place to enjoy the tranquility of the country! Just 15 minutes north of Bonham, and nestled between Lake Bonham and the newly constructed Bois D’ Arc Lake, you are only minutes from shopping, dining and recreation. Built in 2021, the space is a 750 sq ft farmhouse style studio perfect for couples, or a couple with a small child. Beautiful wood vaulted ceilings and antique furnishings take you back in time.

We have ample parking space for boats, and outside electrical outlet available.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

One of our most enjoyable stays

Kevin and Cheryl’s place was perfect for our annual fishing trip. It had everything we needed. Their king bed is the most comfortable bed we’ve slept on at a VRBO. We sure hope to return to Bois D’Ark lake and stay with them again!

Great Secluded Property

What a great place to stay and get away from distractions. The hosts are great people and give you space to move about the beautiful property. My wife and I fell in love with this rental. Also try Mudbones in Bonham for a great hamburger!

Great spot for a quick escape

I spent 2 nights in the guest house/apt. Located off a quiet farm road the location is great for relaxing or access to Bois D'Arc lake. The farm road is good for long walks and the guest house porch is great for relaxing. The interior is comfortable and well appointed. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. I would stay again.
